What is the purpose of the holes cut in the strut tower
Well what tends to happen when the car is to low the upper control arms either smack the strut towers or sit on them having the suspension almost have no play so by cutting them open makes more room for them to move freely not the safest thing to do you should get a new shied that clears and weld it
Right on I assumed it to be a clearance issue but from the looks if it were me I’d make a plate that would allow clearance that would bolt in just to allow easier access to the suspension components

What’s up man they only made them for 98-00 accords but if you want to make it work on your 01-02 you need a 98-00 accord sedan front bumper and 98-00 side skirts to make it fit correctly
Wait... you also have that tick in the engine! Are those the valves making those ticking noise? I just bought a CG6 Accord with the 2.3L 4 cyl and I noticed that there is an audible ticking from the top of the engine and I'm a little worried on what it is. I chucked it up as valve lash cuz the sound is way up top and seems to be coming from inside the valve cover after doing the 'ol screwdrive stethoscope trick.

98-02 is 6th gen. I got mine with the 3.0l v6 of course vtec
Just finished wiring my 04 jdm tlx power fold mirrors and noticed that one of the black/white wire was the power wire for the heated mirrors (didn’t know it came with them). I just ran a in-line fuse tap to a switch works great 👍🏼. Thanks for the help

Might be heated I would move the mirror to the left side and see if there’s 2 wires on the mirror

It’s everstart red auto wire, I don’t remember if it was 16 gauge or 18 gauge which ever is not so thick

Quick question assuming you still have the mirrors on do u have any issues with water leaking in since the fitment isn’t perfect?
I am sure it will have that problem since I didn’t add nothing to prevent it just yet but I will eventually give you guys a update on that in one or my videos on what I did to stop water from coming in

How do you put the 2dr bumper on???
It’s pretty easy I will soon upload a video on doing the coupe front end conversion, you need the coupe hood, bumper, and coupe center bumper retainer
Do u still plan on wrapping it cause my clear coat was faded the same exact way and I’m tryna see if it’ll wrap fine with a little prep and clear instead of blending everything with color and clear before wrapping it
Yeah I’m still going to wrap it stay tuned 🔥🔥 but i was planning on doing the same thing just prepping it and if anything just primer it than wrap, im looking to paint it eventually
@@saperb5638 I’m sayin, my fear is that the wrap won’t adhere or will look weird with just primer ykno? I could be wrong and to blend my car it’d be a whole project but idunno. The main thing stopping me rn is the weather, and it’s literally my only car so imma have to find a couple good full weekends with good weather to get it done. I’m pretty confident I can do the prep in one day and the clear the next, I just fear driving it around and contaminating the substrate
