Stargate SG1 was fantastic. The idea was well suited to TV. Stargate Universe I loved also. And Atlantis. Jason X I really like. Cheap - stupid but a lot of fun. Bitch Slap I gave you as I do have it on Blu-ray. 😂👍.

Great discussion, guys. I've yet to see the tv movies. I recently watched the 3 films . The first is the best. I think i watched the tv series, but I can't remember much about it. I enjoy the remake it delves more into the physiological side of the character coming to terms with becoming a robot.

Film was very ‘Meh’ Never played the games so couldn’t make any comparison at all. Jamie Lee Curtis looked bored and awkward all through. Kevin Heart pointless casting. Jack Black Annoying as hell
@ajsmovieplace yeah seems they made an r rated movie and then completely changed it to appeal to kids and it didn't work

Oh my God ! This film infuriated me. It was dreadful. The writing was dire. And film was poorly structured and a little of actions made zero sense.
Wotcher Chris, I do the same as you with the discs, uniform them, but I also opposite the artwork with it.

Loved John Carter. Randomly saw it at the flicks with low expectation and came out very happy. Still can’t get the kids to sit through it though

@@cyphersigma1 absolutely not. I’m gutted they didn’t market it in the right way and also that we didn’t get any follow ups. I’d have happily been in for more. No doubt they’ll be considering a reboot series or something like. It’s a franchise/ book series that influenced so much. Why not 🤷🏼♂️

@Ody.s.sey1 I have only ever turned off a few movies in my lifetime and this was one of them
I enjoyed the film. Maybe 3rd best alien film. At the moment. Not sure how it will Hold up On rewatches. Did have issue with some lazy story telling though. This is set about 20 Years after Alien. So another 37 years until Ripley is found ☝️ And there. The Newborn 🙄
Yeah, the newborn didn't work for me. Like the face hugger room scene and the cocoon scene, great set designs and visuals

Ah Batman and The Marvels. Both films that in my mind should have ended differently. Batman. Chop the last half hour off. End it with him facing riddler in the cell. Then have the bombs go off. He’s lost Riddlers won. Sets next film from that. The Marvels. When she realised she was the cause of the issues. They should have had her have to fly into that sun and be it’s power source keeping it ignited to keep the planet alive. A noble sacrifice and a good reason to never see the character again.

Nice pick-ups. I didn't mind Falcon and the Winter Soldier, but I preferred Hawkeye and Wanda Vision
Hawkeye is my Favourite. A month or so back day through the entire show in one afternoon

£45 is a lot. I list the blurays on eBay and flog for about £20 - £25. They normally sell. Reduces the cost massively.
I never did make it through the 4th film. It was the point where they were in an office discussing making a new ( Game was it ?). At that point I thought ‘Nope’ - im out ☝️ As for another film. Zero interest.

Great review. What I failed to say is that the film takes itself far to seriously. And in that I feel the fact she was involved in what she was in X. I then have to believe her father is a serial killer also 🤦♂️ That’s also why I said the film should have had the events of X impact her and make her become a killer of her own. Thus bringing the Pearl thing full circle.
