You can take and upload still images yourself, but the virtual tours can only be created by Google Trusted Photographers.

The short story: The majority of people search for things on Google and get directions Maps. Google Business Photos adds graphics that make a business stand out on Google Searches and on Google Maps. The graphics added encourage people to "See Inside". The tour is also embeddable.

This is hilarious because I'm writing a story where one of the characters proposes to another on this same rink!!! Awesome, and this was positively adorable!

Luis, a remote shutter control was used to snap a photo every 3-5 seconds and then the still images were made into this time lapse video using Adobe After Effects.
