Hello. The cable is not included with the polemaster. It's a standard usb micro to usb c cable that can be found online for a few bucks.

The phone cable is powering the camera. The adjustmests are made in the app at first, when you have to find Polaris, then you have to physically move the arm of the tracker 30 degrees twice in order to adjust the allingnment. After that the green circle will appear and you have to physically move the arm in the home position and check if the selectet star trajectory is on the edge of the green circle. On the next step, you will sse a red dot and a yellow cross. You have to move the wedge knobs in order to allign Polaris in the center of the yellow cross. The app is straight forward and gives you all the necessary information for a perfect allignment! Clear skirs!

The adapter that you have used in the video is different to the one from `first Light Optics, if like you I would like to use the polar scope arm to place the pole master and not the centre screw where you attach a ball head. I think it is one of the adapters I mentioned in my first post. Thanks again.

Hi Stephen, The Android phone I'm using it's a Samsung Galaxy Note 9 from 2018 running Android 10... If you're able to get the camera connected to the phone or Android device, it shouldn't be a problem... I don't think resolution could be the issue... My phone has 4k display, but the app from Polemaster should work on lower resolution. Did you tap on cancel when the app asked to use the last circle setup? If yes, it should ask you to choose polaris and match the sorroundong stars. Or maybe the camera gain was too low or too high and driven you to choise other star then Polaris. You should repeat the process and see the results. I hope this was helpful!

Hi Michal. I think I forgot to mention in the video this issue... Yes I'm facing the same issue sometimes and I have to disconnect and reconnect the cable from the phone's USB port. I thought it might be from the adapter for USB A to USB C that I used to use before with the original cable. That's why I switched to the USB C cable. I think it's related to the Android app, not with the cable or Polemaster...

Eu l-am luat pentru montura astro sa am o baza foarte stabila.

@@darklights-art ,vreau trepiedul acesta tot pt astronomie,dar vizual,cu un refractor ED 80mm...am avut ocazia să folosesc și un Astrotrac,dar prefer observațiile vizuale :)...trepiedul îmi place pt că e foarte compact,locuiesc într-un oraș cu multă poluare luminoasă, și am nevoie să mă deplasa ușor la un parc de la marginea orașului.

Urmareste preturile de pe Amazon.de: cauta Rollei Alpha XL MK II. Acum e 469 euro. Daca ai o montura eq sau az nu ai nevoie de ballhead.
