My daughter Meryl, age 9, loves Heartstopper. I finally read it via libby and I really enjoyed them. Such heavy topics but important for kids to know about and to talk about. The other graphic novel I read was a spooky fun one called Unfamiliar. It's about a kitchen witch in search for a house. Then it quickly turns into "how do I get theses ghosts out of my house?" There are two volumes so far and I read them on Libby. I also read a children's book called The Skull: A Tyrolean Folktale by John Klassen. He teams up with different authors while he illustrates.

Woot! Witch's Brew for the win. I saw it in Sam's Club the other day and gasped. The weather down here in San Antonio is chefs kiss. So breezy and fall. If no one has told you today or lately, YOU'RE DOING A GREAT JOB!

I read The Trial of the Sun Queen and liked parts of it but not enough to read the series. It's like The Prison Healer. Tons I loved but some plot could have been expanded and made the series overall SO MUCH better! Le sigh. I flew through the Heartstopper graphic novels.

do you read dark romance?in my fall tbr i want to read legacy of gods by rina kent it had collage and mafia dark socity vibes and the hollow biys im in book 3 now it is GOOD mistery dark academia and revange crazy stuff here and there

damn i had exactly the same rating for novel love story i was so sad!! i wanted to love it and it was such a flop for me too. love her writing, love seven year slip, but just didn't really vibe with any characters!

I think if the book is amazing, it'll get you out of the slump. If it doesn't, it's not that good of a book.

Reading is really wonderful and provides great knowledge as well. But not good if you if you over do excessively. Reading so much small print for too long at a time is a strain to your eyes. But even worse that you did it for week on your Kindle. That's no different than a computer screen. That's really hard on your eyes. I really suggest that you should only sue your Kindle at a more limited pace.

Well this is interesting? I should have mentioned in my comment to you in your "Happy Place" video that I'm a retired optician. In that video for brief minute you were wearing a dark colored plastic framed pair of glasses. But sense you weren't wearing them when driving or when you were reading a book I assumed they were likely a pair of blue light blocking glasses. But now I see you wearing a different pair of glasses throughout this video. So my first assumption was that you do in fact wear prescription glasses and most likely for reading with a weak prescription to relax your eyes and reduce eyestrain. But a closer look through the lenses of your glasses didn't show any magnification or minification at all. So I'm very curious to know more about your glasses. Are they or are they not prescription glasses? And if there prescription exactly what do you need them for? Thank you and have a wonderful day.

For a brief minute I saw you wearing glasses. I'm thinking they were most likely a pair of blue light blocking glasses since you weren't wearing glasses to drive or when you were reading. So you apparently have perfect vision. But I should warn you about something I read published in 2018. A major university had just done a study and they found that 74% of the population either wears glasses or contact lenses. Now of course I'm sure that the percentage has increased since then. But even if it hasn't your odds of not needing glasses is at best only around 26%.

I think my favorites so far this year have been 2 classic mysteries by Agatha Christie -- "Murder on the Orient Express" and "Cards on the Table". If you're in the mood for a whodunnit they're very good. We're talking with these, books that were written in the late 1930's....but they don't feel old like that to me.

So many books I've read have been 3 stars. It's disappointing and annoying, honestly so I've been slowing down and trying to find quality books to keep it in the 4 to 5 star range. Also, I'm over summery books. You know what bothers me? People placing books on their shelves or their tbr because they are turn your brains off/fast reads. What? Why would you waste your time on something you would not enjoy? I don't know. Mindless reading isn't my favorite and I'm tired of reading boring books.
