I like the color differentiation from gray stone and brick. I remember a vacation cave tour and it was more orange than gray.

how many packs of the wiz kids tile sets is a good amount to get started? i plan on pre building only the rooms for encounters not really set on building an entire dungeon for the players to roam around. i like to use theatre of the mind for the traveling around the dungeon and set the scene whenever i know they are going into an encounter.

How do you get additional monsters to show up a few rounds into the battle? Entering them manually does not get you to the clickable stat block unless doing something wrong. Do not see a way to save the "in Progress" encounter, do you? Yep, I'm new.

P1. In Encounter Builder, my mountain dwarf hit points does not pop--up when I run the encounter. Any suggestions?

hahahaha yo at 0:44 the sound you made after drinking the water cracked me up.

another good tip: build all your rooms before the session and have them ready to go. don't build on the fly. have everything prepared and maybe the props and monsters set aside and numbered so you can populate once you drop the room.

After putting it off for years and mainly 3d printing terrain I finally made the plunge and dropped about a grand on a bunch of Caverns Deep. I did this mainly because the 3d printed stuff isnt very organic looking or as modular. Love the video btw!

so I used the original clips, two for most tiles and all the walls and now i'm kinda scared to take them apart, i don't want to break them but i need to get them apart

How do you have those sets that aren't even out yet??? The tavern and kitchen set...

I've got this preordered at my local game store.

I love the OG clips for my Warlock tiles. I haven't had the issues with taking them apart people seem to have just pull down then up and they are apart, but maybe years of sports and working out makes my hands more adapt to them lol

also i just learned that you can leave one part open so you can build pieces of a dungeon that can be pieced together randomly or on the fly and t his also solves the fog of war problem, they discover as they explore because i just attach the next room or hallway when they open the door...i can use a door from doors and arches to stand in temporarily as a door at the opening or just tell them when you see an open space that's a door and when you open it i'll add the next room or hallway

i only use one clip so i can use interior walls and interior doors, they wobble a bit when you pick them up the they stay together

how do you have the tavern set out like a month early?

I found the inner circle TIles to be much less useful than the other pieces in the set.

Why are you not mentioning that the angle walls are thinner and the clips do not insert all the way in, basically the wall gets one click, and the floor gets 3 clicks.

Please increase your sound quality. I had this video at max and could barley here you. I wanted to listen to the entire video but had to give up.
