I bought the EDP hoping it would be interchangeable with Bois du Portugal but for me absolutely not. Lalique EDP has an underlying smokiness that i hate. Every time I i catch that smokiness in the dry down I hate it. Do you notice any of that with the EDT version?

For some reason this is very good and very underrated. It's light but lasts a long time. It does have a slight vibe like eternity but with that "plastic doll heads* thing as many people point out. I got this for $8 at Burlington. I'm going to get some back ups

I have used GG since it came out, its a bit love hate with me I kind of keep buying it and think why ? none of my kids like it and say it stinks ! but I am a lot older so I don't care what they think..so just ordered a bottle of Geogio beverly hills as I have never tried it, the link between GG made me buy it so see what happens...Great review and put my mind at rest, buying all my old favourites before I snuff it 😂 sure I will love seeing my kids hiding for cover as apparently GBH is very strong..thanks for the review will now watch more

I feel similar about this specific cologne. I tried very hard to get on to this cologne and like it, but it’s just not good. No matter how little of it I put it on or how long I let it cool down, it smells completely overpowered, bitter, and harsh. I can can hardly smell the sweet cinnamon or soft, cashmere woods notes at all. A far different, disgustingly bitter note takes front and center stage the entire time you have this cologne on. Usually, a cologne makes the wearer feel more attractive. This scent does the exact opposite. It literally made me want to hide in a corner or underneath something so that one had the displeasure of having to smell what I was forced to smell all day long. This is hands down one of the worst colognes I’ve ever worn. The listed scent note breakdowns do not match the actual scent. The vibe I get from this fragrance is “older gentleman who is very abrasive, stubborn, disengenuous, and tries too hard to be something he is not, but ultimately misses his mark.”

aftershave is more woody and floral way less citrus. The cologne is more citrussy and it is very obvious especially in the opening you are hit with lemon/lime and bergamott big time. both are the same scent but balanced differently. i have yet to try EDT. Love the stuff

this is a super safe scent if you are above 30. since it's a manly smell also ver timeless i can imagine young and older men wearing this even after i die it is that timeless.

Hammam Bouquet - Yes, indeed. It’s redolent of a “classic” Victorian era men’s scent. I’ve had a 100 ml atomiser bottle for … many years. A classic, heady scent with moderately strong sillage. It has the “intense floral rose” olde fashioned notes one recalls from one’s grandmother and having lunch with her! However, it has a layered effect on me and I use it from-time-to-time from October through March in the northern latitudes. Reminiscent (a little) in the middle notes of Creed Royal Mayfair … but that one goes smokier and more fougere - gin - ambergris than Hammam. I’m an olde guy and wear old bespoke clothes … I like it even if the vibe is “olde fusty guy.” It’s good for a 1x to 3x weekly wear to work and esp if you’re sort of flexing that olde guy vibe

It doesn’t last long but in hot weather instead of sweating salty the sweat has a sweet note instead of just salty.

I bought the Vetiver Tonka 6 years ago, and a few years ago, I was impressed by Cuir Vetiver, being similar to Vetiver Tonka. Is not the same perfume, but 90%, smells similar. Do you have any comparison between Paco Rabanne - Paco Energy (the white one)? I can't find it anymore .........

I bought a travel kit of the pour homme which contains the same black spray bottle u got and 3 refills. Its a decent scent but im eyeing the aimez one now :).

I feel incredibly lucky to have stumbled upon this discontinued gem. I also detect the wine-like scent, and I particularly relish the delightful, feel-good aroma as it settles. I'm truly delighted to have found this fragrance, and I plan to continue using it solely for my own enjoyment. I absolutely adore this perfume. While I've tried other rose-scented fragrances, this one surpasses them all.

Haven't watch the full review yet but this one is really really good. Lots of people say it smells like plastic doll heads. Finally enough it's kind of true. It's a very fresh plasticky smell. would sound like it wouldn't be good but it is. Oddly enough even though it's a very light smell it actually lasts forever
