Video game suggestions for people who don't wanna go to school
มุมมอง 272 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
I have played video games all my life, the ones that are built-in your PC, the famous ones, the not so famous ones and have stumbled upon some that made most of my childhood memories with my siblings. I can't imagine my life without friv.com and I still am not over the fact that adobe flash player doesn't work anymore, that classic friv is gone and playing Chicken Invaders isn't a thing anymore...

the perfect autumn evening (feat. Mazzy Star)
มุมมอง 3021 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา
Autumn's beauty feels bittersweet, as the vibrant colors of the leaves slowly fade and fall, blanketing the ground like forgotten memories. The crisp air carries a quiet sadness, hinting at the inevitable arrival of winter’s cold grasp. Each sunset seems to linger a little longer, as if the day is reluctant to let go, mirroring the way the trees cling to their last few leaves. There's a melanch...

      @@తాతగారిఇంట్లోచదివినకథలు despite all the odds, like a black room, being blind, finding something that's black, man still finds the black cat somehow. that's faith. believing in something that isn't there, or at least the proof of which isn't there.

    • @jamestargin2957
      @jamestargin2957 วันที่ผ่านมา

      @@తాతగారిఇంట్లోచదివినకథలు First of all, it describes religion as a whole as a blind man which insinuates that religion has some singular agency of its own, which it doesn’t. Religion is an attribute of individual humans, everyone has some sort of a belief of the purpose of existence and those beliefs should not be conglomerated into a single entity with a single agency. To add on top of this, humanity/religion is not blind, we have logic and observation. We are capable of interpreting reality and understanding it. Next, it says religion is trying to find its way through a dark room which obviously represents reality. But reality isn’t a dark room, we don’t live in a chaotic, unpredictable world. We live in a world with purpose, every event has a cause and an effect. We don’t have to feel our way through. Third, it says religion finds a black cat that doesn’t exist. This sentence is most likely drawing a parallel between the cat and the purpose of the universe, the thing that religion seeks. This can be interpreted in many ways, depending on the readers beliefs. When looked at through the various lenses, it always ends up a dumb sentence. Those that believe in a higher being believe that the cat exists, and most would also believe that the cat is not black, but rather brightly lit. Those that believe in a purposeless universe with no higher being would say that the cat does not exist but would also have found it, which is a contradiction. If this quote had been simplified by switching religion with atheism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, etc. I would still disagree in most cases, but it would no longer be a dumb quote.

    Yknow the only time i get these levels of melancholy is always when listening to a creepypasta taking place in some isolated towm idk theres just something so odd about these places forgotten villages, old towns especially if it's related to the woods.Its kinda unsettling I mean you could encounter things that have been long been forgotten so (skin walkers dont find me and end me)but theres also something so familiar like even tho its unsettling it's still feels more whole than the concrete jungles of humans.It stills fills a sensation it doesn't feel bleak ,it feels full it feels whole it's beautiful and isolated some forgotten place where humans just aren't a problem. And i think that is what paradise would be for some people , people like me not palaces or harems or endless feasts or fame or anything to just be forgotten to not be bothered for all sensation to be replaced by a sense of belonging in a forgotten place a tiny world far far away from the cruelty of man to just exist in a painting a tiny slice of a forgotten paradise all to yourself.Bonus points if you get to make cool werewolf or wendigo friends.But yuh, i feel this deep sense of hatred for this artificial world I mean does that make me a hypocrite?Obv i benefit from it everyday but still it feels hollow empty.Like a dead body on a life support system yea it's alive but there's just something missing in the pursuit for efficiency in the pursuit to just build and produce i think we gave up beauty.I mean logou ne arts aur humanities ki izzat itni kam kardi hae leken the world would be so boring without paintings,good books ,worlds so batshit insane to immerse our ourselves.But you degrade the arts and not only that the very thing that makes the Earth the Jewel of our solar system you ruin that as well valleys, mountains,ocearns so ancient and beautiful filled with life that has existed and died for so long that their lives could perhaps not fill a library stretching continents.In the pursuit of progress we abandon beauty beauty in the arts ,literature and philosophy and once we did that we lost a part of our humanity and now we are but an endless swarm of consumption and buying addicted to simple cheap pleasures not imvested in building or doing more and that perhaps is what human hubris will be in the end Prometheus gave you the fire and rather than appreciating it for what it was you destroyed yourself with it .

    • @allthingsthataregood
      @allthingsthataregood 2 วันที่ผ่านมา

      i haven't related to something so much before, honestly. that isolated town feeling is very much a thing. like seeing old photos of an abandoned hut in the middle of the forest, it gives me severe goosebumps. like there used to be life in that hut, people used to live there, laugh and eat and play and make memories. and now it's all forgotten and deserted. very eerie but very melancholic too. i went through a phase where i literally just watched these exploration videos where a guy would pretty much dare himself to visit an abandoned asylum or a hospital or any typa deserted building and it was in a weird way therapeutic to me. to know that someone is visiting these places where there used to be life but now they are terribly forgotten. and you are so right about the art thing. humanity has destroyed and disrespected arts for millenia. sure man has been the creator of it too but it has been more focused on not preserving it, not saving it, not giving it a place where it's safe from destruction. i believe that every painting out there that was ever created, whether it was a mere scribble or a splash of paint or a literal masterpiece, it should be kept, not thrown away. it should be preserved. every book that was ever written, every piece of pottery ever created, every building that was ever built even if it was a just a blueprint, it should not be destroyed. because that's the thing about art, when people make art they project all sorts of emotions into it. all they were feeling in that moment, they give their feelings an image. the world is bland and boring and miserable without art especially music. what can't be expressed through words, can always be expressed through music. music has never failed us. music will always be the beacon of light in the world of arts. paradise for me would be living in a painting, one that was made by a not-so-famous artist, one that was made by a person people barely knew. a painting that never got hung in any museum, not even in the artist's own house. instead it was hopelessly thrown in his attic among other things that were forgotten. i want to be the focus of such a painting and live in it for eternity.

    Eh tbh its hit or miss these issues will continue as long as education is commercialized it's a by product of Pakistani society being this weird amalgamation of both extremely liberal and conservative obviously relative to social status I think it's just an extension of the thousands of other issues plaguing our society I mean the only solution is to make education totally free and provide a uniform system throughout the entire country having the same curriculum , rules with an emphasis on co-circulars as well to compete internationally as well rather than anyone who just wants to go abroad do a levels. But practically all of that is simply not practically possible for the education system to change the very fabric of our society has too and especially economic inequality and to view academia, research and progress with respect and view it with dignity rather than making a mockery out of it and using it as only means to just keep earning consuming . We need to give academia respect as well as changing the very core of what an education system is but such changes will take a lot of efforts spread over many many decades .Right now it's just a cycle of regurgitating information without appreciation for how and why just information was acquired in the first place and i think that is what is most unfortunate . I mean yea alevels vs fsc fancy chairs vs broken chairs jin par 20-30 galiya likhi hoti hae but there is a fundamental disrespect for the subjects we study we view them as a means to an end not something to find beauty and understanding to not appreciate knowledge and to stay in our cloud of ignorance.(eh mujhe kya meh tou physics wallah se parhta hou)
