I checked out your channel and saw your videos. They're great, but your video SEO isn’t set up properly, which will affect your channel’s growth. I can help you improve this if you’re interested. I am waiting for your reply.. Thanks regards “Nazmul Hossain”
I don’t think commenting on the videos that the SEO isn’t good works too well for me

As an electronics technician... I prefer to just open the device and put an ice pic through the microphone and twist it around a little bit.

Thank you so much for the good knowledge content
My pleasure!
I messaged you on Instagram and Chack it.
I have been thinking about changing my thermostat so I have leaned something. Thank you! I like the simplicity of the basic Honeywell and I am not interested in a lot of bells and whistles. However, if a thermostat can make scheduled temperature adjustments sans me doing it, that would work for me.
What type of thermostat do you have now?
You live are prived ? No cool
?
carrier explained to me once if you check from any of the COM wires back to neutral or common with a call for blower, you will get a voltage drop that corresponds with a particular speed. if you have a voltage drop you can compare it to what it should be,
hmmmm, I’d love to know more
I hope you press into the trade. If not I’ll be back😊
What do you mean?
@@ACManHeatingandAir not all regulators say NG OR LP, nor do they specify whether the first stage or second stage or dual. Basically teach or don’t, if you don’t know then don’t.
@@ACManHeatingandAir you deleted my comment go eat cats bro
Im a hvac tech. Love your videos. One of my favorite channels. I have some questions about honeywell zoning boards. About the contacts on them sticking. The boards are installed in an attick. Does honeywell advise against installing zone boards in the attick due to heat and humidity. Is this a common problem. And what is the next step, is it just replacement of the board. I work over a 100 unit townhome property. I have about 8 homes that the contacts stick 2 to 3 times a month. And ill pay for your expertise. Thanks again.
is there a separate transformer installed on the unit for the zone board and the zone damper or are you using the 24 V transformer that comes with the air handler? that would be the first thing I would check the transformer that comes with the air handler does not have enough volt amps to power the 24 V components in the HVAC system and the zone board and dampers.
@@ACManHeatingandAir I will check that immediately. Thank you so much for your help!!
Also if by chance there are 2 transformers. What would be the next step. I've literally tapped the boards and the contacts will close. Or a few residents have noticed if they turn off the power for a few minutes and then turn it back on their system will begin working. I've confirmed that 24 volts is coming into the board at the right places. Sometimes they stick open and sometimes they stick closed. And the boards are around 1 year old. They are honeywell hz322 zone board. All systems have 3 zones, honeywell t stats, system has a by pass damper as well. Again thank you for the help
Hey, so they do have 2 transformers. For 15 years I've worked in apartments and so not exposed to zoning systems until now. I'm over another property as well that has the same exact setup except using aprilair products and the airhandler with zoning equipment installed in the garage and having zero issues. Just wondering if sticking contacts on honeywell boards is a common thing and once confirmed that the contacts are sticking is the next step replacement. Thanks
Keep fixing your old R-22 units. The new ones coming out with has butane in the Freon which now people are finding out that their a/c units are exploding from these leaks.
and 410
Does the fact that it's old, and likely higher quality due to it's age, compared to the absolute garbage that's for sale these days, effect your opinion at all, on replacing rather than repairing?
not if it is 10 years old. That will be the same as newer ones
You have to wrap the inside too.
yes you do
How do you wrap it
look at how I do it in the video
Great Video Joe H Navy Seabee
thank you!
Yeah man great content my dude keep up the good work 🫡 now explain the reverse polarity on a furnace blower ? If you get this error code 😁 what do u do to fix it 😅
😃
Excellent video and information!!
Glad it was helpful!
my company offers a 10 year labor warranty on almost all of our equipment. Almost always it benefits the customer to replace the system on any repair 1k or more if the system is past that 10 year mark.
10 year labor is awesome. We also do it. Fantastic job and I definitely agree
They’re pretty quick also
he was moving pretty fast
I appreciate the video really helped and worked!
Glad it helped!
Are the same symptom s for txv my friend?
what do you mean?
How does it remove humidity?
it will slow the fan down really slow in order to pick up more humidity onto the coil
I like this way with the takeoff instead of splicing with a piece of pipe. Something you might want to try or experiment with as well is using Nashua 365 tape to join your ducts, it blends in almost invisibly and isn’t a rigid paper like tape like FSK tape so it can be easier to work with on flex.
wow, I didn’t know that. I’ll look into that tape.
I’m in NC and never seen the guys install that adapter. And the job still passes code.
it’s in most of the manufacturers instructions, but yeah, I agree with you. It’s very rarely done.
excellent
Many many thanks
Most of those buildings on main have been off and on vacant as far as I remember from the late 80s
wow, thats a long time. So was there ever a bustling time for that street?
@ACManHeatingandAir I can't recall a time it was. Businesses came and went so much. I think there was maybe 5 or 6 businesses open at the same time. I think that building where spring ave and main is I have never in my life seen any sign on that building or anyone go in it.
I disagree! Explain what the reason is? Why is it dangerous? It's not dangerous if done correctly. Go home Mr. Proper!
You have to realize these videos are not an attack on you
Grass lawns are the single most environmentally unsustainable thing that comes with a house, grass used for lawns produce 0 benefit for wildlife it absolutely kills speicies diversity... Less birds and animals wanna live close to it its fkn shit
yes
What’s an appropriate replacement unit for one of these in this situation that’s 50 gallon 48,000 btu. Anything with a “side loop”?
oh, not too sure about that
oh man crazy to see 2 years ago, that church looks beautiful now!
I need to go look!
What is M2 for on the zone control board?
more than likely is the common terminal
Close = 5 letters 😂. Therefore, MClose = 6 letters. Bingo. Great explanation ❤❤❤❤
it’s “closed” 6 letters. but if that helps you remember it that works also.
But my unit is brand new and it smells like that
is bacteria
Thanks for video. I couldn't figure it out. My house watcher switched to on while I was away. I have been so miserable last few nights with humidity. Great video. Short and right to the point.
Glad it helped
If you ever have the opportunity to show us how to install multiple returns please do. Thanks for the info.
I’ll try to remember to go film when we do them
Only issue I have with that is it's more static with the lip of the metal inside the vinyl. I'd prefer to push interduct into interduct at least 3 rings tape with flex tape then tape the outer duct together. Always pull the inner duct on the other end to get a smooth wall
thats good info
Thank you so much !
You're welcome!
Just saved me my Mf meter stopped working. 🫡
Keep it super vague definitely charged $1000 for that
thank you for letting me know your price
Okay, but if I don't already have that, it's not really a tip, right? I cant just install it in an hour... it's something you have to already have.. How is this a practical tip?
Veiled sales pitch. At least he didn’t end with “call now for a free estimate!”
It’s not veiled at all, it’s a company account
Sweet
❤️
Thanks, will check my zone board as all air is being sent to one zone regardless of which thermostat is turned on and off.Is there a way to manually open a damper on the damper control box?
Yes you can turn the screw on most of them
Trane AC, my zones 1 and 2 stop working. Only zone 3 works. Does this mean a new MB is required? Interesting that I set the thermostat on Zone 2 (main part of house) and air flows through bedroom with Zone 2. Thermometer in zone 3 still controls the AC and blower for temp but all air goes to Zone 2 (???). Any suggestions?
I’d have to see the wiring
Thank you for the tip was wondering why my new house was so humid I’ll be trying this
did it help?
@@ACManHeatingandAir sure did, humidity stays between 55 and 45 now.
wonderful solution
Figured it out - I pushed the fan in too far and had to center it.🤦♂️ Once I did that it was easy street. 😎Thanks!
beautiful
Can you run both at the same time
yes definitely
I have everything done except for getting the motor back in balanced. Any tips on how to level the new motor while installing so the fan will spin?
you have to make sure the belly band is even all the way around the motor
thank you !
