This is exactly the run I wanted with coveless first try and I'm super happy with it. I first tried out the category last month as a way to take a break from any% and found it to be pretty exciting. Going to kinda miss doing attempts lol

Once her final form starts talking, you just need to hit her to scroll through the dialogue to finish the fight
This battle was so hard for me when I was a kid. I wrote in my review of this game that if you don't have the Lion Heart finishing move, you don't stand a chance.

Definitely, It has an amazing story, but I guess it depends on what you like, people complain a lot about the junctioning system, but it is quite easy to understand and use

Characters are chosen randomly, she had nothing junctioned.
@chady cake if you played it before you will know in the final battle you can't select your characters. You have to battle her with randomly selected characters until she kills off the random character and bring out the character you want to use.
Who uses the magic user to do only physical attacks? and calm down on the cursor moving. Jesus christ.

because physical attacks in ff8 are strong and damage magic is useless? damn, that's the real 1 thing i hate about ff8, a damn thundaga who do 300 damage

With the music and the grotesque imagery of the ultimecias final form this final boss genuinely scared me when I was young.

I'm not sure if anyone here has ever encountered this but during the final form of Ultimecia, you can trigger an end to the fight where Ultimecia's blood explodes all over the place and even gets on the characters for that slow mo transition. My brother only ever managed to make it happen once and I don't ever see it being talked about in threads or forums or anywhere. We don't know how to trigger it so if anyone can help, it'd be appreciated.

What's your point? This isn't a speedrun.
If you haven't played through the full game already, I would definitely recommend it. It's usually either a hit or miss with people though (assuming you're a fan of RPG games).
