Filter media is too small. (sqr. ft.) run pump longer. Replace cartridge media after a few washes on the regular. If phosphate is a problem, it would be a ight lime green color, clearish, with balanced chemicals. Adding phosphate remover is a good idea but will futher clog the filter and you will need to replace it after tereatments. If phosphates a really high, you will get a "fallout" that can can only be system vacced to waste. This will require you to add more fill water, and you will have to treat for phosphate again becuace the fill water is likely high in phosphate to begin with. Just keep phosphate out of your water when you fire up the pool by treating, and maintenence dose on the regular. Whatever filter media you choose is not the issue. If the square footage is too small, no matter how long you run the pump or clean the filter it will not clear. Also, watch for "blow back" after cleaning filter. You can just be chasing your tail. Looks more like a filtation issue than phosphate, but phospates shold not be in your pool if possible. It shouldn't be in you drinking/fill water either, but that's another story.

Magic eraser is an abrasive. So basically fine sandpaper

I use magic eraser an I also have a sand pump filter. An it works for my pool

When you are sponsored do they send you a special formula that works miracles that the formula from Walmart doesn't? Because what I purchased off the shelf at the store does not do a dorn thing. It did not take out even the most barely visible swirl marks, let alone a scratch. Who conducted the study that generated their slogan "#1 BEST SELLLING..."? I can sell a million bottles of air and claim it will take out scratches, and it will end up being the #1 selling bottle of air for that day, but I guarantee no one will ever buy it again, and I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt that I will never buy this crap again. What I did buy went right in the trash where it belonged

I'm a 58 year old woman who cares for the pool all by myself and my grandchildren depend on Grandma cause they all love to swim and I m very overwhelmed with pool care when it turns green. If this solves my problems I will be eternally greatful as will be the grandchildren. Bless u for the making of this video , I need to look up prices and do a little more research. This is safe to swim in while the pool rx is in use in the pool basket??

I tried this stuff on my car, if you have a scratch it will NOT remove it. It will remove extremely light blemishes like paint transfers etc. I have a few scratches (pretty light ones too) and this stuff did absolutely NOTHING. I'm going to return it for my full refund and it's guaranteed.

Pool guy here- next time your pool turns green, backwash your filter real good, drop your pH to the low side (7.0-7.2), shock your pool with liquid chlorine (1 gallon chlorine per 5k gallons of water), add a good phosphate remover, and then let that filter run 24/7. Check your chems daily and make sure to maintain a chlorine level of 7-10 ppm until the pool clears. It never hurts to maintain a clean filter throughout the process as well, so don’t be afraid to do a quick backwash every 2-3 days until the pool clears. Sidenote: if your cyanuric acid is consistently high when your pool keeps turning green (say over 150 ppm) you’ll continue having this green pool issue until you drain and refill your pool with fresh water. High CYA causes chlorine lock, neutralizing whatever amounts of chlorine that are present in your pool. You can unlock your free chlorine by adding an oxidizer weekly, but that gets pretty expensive.

For someone coming along and seeing this… I fought with this issue for a season and finally tossed the paper filter and bought a sand filter. It was a world of difference. That tiny paper filter can’t keep up with this volume of water. I could actually vacuum the pool without cleaning the filter 5 times just to vacuum the entire pool. The sand filter was also able to clear the water in a typical turnover of 12-24 hours. And with no bottom drain that poor little outlet half way up the wall and your skimmer are expected to move all that water. It isn’t going to happen. Make sure your return jet is pointed to the left and down towards the bottom to keep the bottom half of the water moving and moving in a circular pattern.

What size is the pressure hose from the factory? Is it 1/4 or 5/16? and how many psi

I have two filters working on my 15 x 48 but my well water is crazy high in ph so it's a struggle with always adding ph- and clarifying vaccuming. It's so much work holy. I had no idea pool operations was so damn complicated.

After 24 hours of pool Rx, there is improvement and I can see the bottom. It needs to be vacuumed, can I vacuum the pool?

In hindsight you're trying to run a NASCAR thousand horsepower engine down the strip with the fuel pump off of a moped. You need a large sand filter along with two pieces of copper to put in your skimmer (look that one up)

You have to put the magic eraser inside the filter /middle of your cartridge. I do this every week and it works very well

We had same problem with our 18x48 pool this year,never had that problem with cloudiness before and this is our 3rd season with this pool....we did everything the exact same way we did previous 2 years but nothing worked...we went to pool store and did what they said which shockingly made it worse so we drained every drop of water out and started over with a clean slate and its been crystal clear ever since

Looks fantastic. I had what was basically a pond and I slammed it for about 8 days to 14 ppm free chlorine, that's what got it to finally clear up. Lots of vacuuming to waste though, and I keep getting dirt on the bottom that I need to vacuum to waste - if I don't, it will form green spots of algae on the liner and that will then require a bunch more chlorine to clear out so I need to maintain it properly. That's all without a PoolRx, I may get one if it keeps requiring a lot of chlorine.

I would shock the pool and then after 8 hours bush it down good.I drop a pool cleaner in with pool running. Then I would use thr pool RX
