It's a bit too gritty. Maybe a bit less gain or dial down that tone knob.It's also very muffled.
Still learning to dial a good guitar tone, I'm a bass player who occasionally plays guitar. Thanks for the advice

I can see your point but they definitely have melodic moments in other songs. Sum comes to mind or Cadaverous Mastication which has an amazing solo as well
