Now imagine you are on a bike, you pull up sideways to a first car at the intersection. They of course want to turn (and ran you over), but once they notice you they turn their turn signal on, alas you do not see it because you are on the side of their car now. So light turns green and they start slowly ramming into you... screaming that they indicated the turn. That summarizes every day riding a bike in NYC 😢 The law in NYC requires drives to start signaling the turn at least 100 yards before they want to do so.
