Generally, not such a good idea to cross there.. That's the tourist crossing. You're more likely to get hassled. Instead, cross at Lewiston / Queenston. You got hassled because you didn't stop where you're supposed to.

Was going into a border town in the US from Canada one time with a few friends and the border guard asked what our purpose was for coming to the country. I told him we were going to enjoy some cheap American beer . He just said, have fun. And waved us through.

Have few questions: 1) is car rental from Buffalo airport allowed to enter Canada? 2) How much is the toll both ways?

What I like about this drive is that it changes in every season. Winter is just magical!

I’ve been there for 35 yrs by day and night, and a friend lived there 5 yrs, never an incident…. It’s not the best area for sure, but most violence is those people fighting themselves, or car window break ins.

Go up to Sherbourne and Dundas that's the worst intetsection on the sherbourne strip. It's changed so much, and not for the better. I grew up in this area, and it used to be a nice area. There was an arcade there in the late eighties at sherbourne and queen and no drugs or dealers.

Alright. CBP officers on the Mexico-US border (Specifically those in El Paso Texas) are much more nice and polite. If you cross regularly enough they won’t even check you.
