The toilet manufacturer recommends keeping the bowl empty. Who’s right

Well, Only if a dive boat toilet would be like the yacht toilet.

As a group of people who enjoy sailing through pristine oceans why are you placing your waste in it. Can toilets be developed to carry all waste until being docked? After all, once you leave dock you have everything on board. Matter is matter and in theory takes up the same volume. So before a meal a lettuce is in its natural form, a few hours after eating it, it transforms into excrement. Added with the liquids etc, does it add weight or volume? As someone who has recently joined the ranks of loving sailing I am totally against throwing waste into the very environment we are enjoying. Is there a responsible alternative?

Can some one make me a eletrical toilet this one is a effort. I mean I pay 20mil for a 7 star yacht and the toilet is 1 star medieval style bucket with a pump I mean come on....

Also crucial point - wipe and then throw the paper out the window, same with baby wipes you use etc. Wipe and then throw it out of the window - don’t let anything go down the sink or as shown here into the toilet. The tank and pump systems will get totally blocked and these wipes can block up plumbing for years.

I have honestly always shat in the sink!! I thought you only use the toilet when you are in port, or really just for show if you want to take a pee. So basically instead of shitting off the side of the boat or into the sink, you can do it on the toilet but then just empty the toilet in to the sea directly? That is so much better - I just thought the toilet tank had to be emptied manually or connected to one of those nasty stinky hoses but if we can just dump while under way that makes much more sense. Iv always said it is organic anyway and fish/animals love it anyway, so doing it over the side or into our sink as usual isn’t an issue but glad finally some authority on the matter agrees with me. I think the rules for toilet paper are a bit strict, I always say to guests only 3 sheets of paper per flush, no more, but as many flushes as they need. I have never had a blockage, only time I have had a blockage is when some dizzy cow flushed her tampon on our electric head and stopped the macerator dead. Now that was fun to remove... :(

They do make fast dissolving toilet paper for use in yachts btw.
