Congregation B’nai Sholom/Fair Lawn Jewish Center is a vibrant Conservative, congregation in central Bergen County, New Jersey with a long and rich history of community service. We pride ourselves on being a friendly community with a diverse congregation. Our passionate rabbis and skilled lay leadership offer thoughtful Jewish experiences with traditional values all year round.

We want everyone to feel welcome and become an active participant in our caring, spiritual home. Our membership is diverse. Some of our families have been in the community for generations, while others have moved here from a variety of Jewish communities abroad. There are singles, married couples, Holocaust survivors, Jews by choice, LGBTQ, intermarried, and blended families. Some have studied for many years in Jewish Day Schools while others have little or no formal Jewish education. All have found their place in our community.
