As a private math tutor for middle and high school students, I create videos to provide additional examples of commonly asked questions and topics, primarily in Algebra I, Algebra 2, and Pre-calculus courses.

the answer Would really be a Fractions? can u convert it to whole number?
@@MattNgcompre for this problem, the answers are not integers they are fractions
Hi can you make a video for "How to Find Lowest Common Multiples and Greatest Common Factors"
I’ll add that to my list of videos thanks for the suggestion!
@@MathlessonswithLinda Thank you so much!
My problem with these sophisticated math equations is that I haven't a clue how they relate to everyday life.
can you do videos about factoring quartic polynomials?

I always dreaded solving this kind of quadratic, but this method makes it simple, thanks!
great
Perfect 👍
❌(❌-5)(2❌+3)
We used to call it the trial and error method
Nice soltuion
Thank so much
6 answer without all those steps!
Great explanation
Well explained
These costs are all wrong. Thanks to our idiot “president” Biden, you need to at least double the cost of all the ingredients.
Forget the toppings. For another $ 0.35 you can get another Sunday.
How much is the sales tax?
You can solve this problem in 2 simple steps .. 1) Subtract the cost of a sundae and banana from the total that you have $ 8.15 - $ 4.25 = $ 3.90 2) Divide the money left over by the cost of a topping $ 3.90 / $ 0.65 = 6 You have enough money to add 6 toppings.
Did it in my head. Easy.
Thanks so much!! This was confusing to me, but after seeing this, I understand it a lot better!
nice ❤

Watch Mr. H's tutorial on how to factor tri-nomials. Much easier.
That’s great that you found an easier method that works for you!
@@MathlessonswithLinda As a math tutor, who has used the method you showed and one other, all that work, Mr's H's method is the easiest. I taught the other two methods for years and then saw Mr. H's and realized it's the easiest. I always look for the easiest way for my students.
good teaching mam 😊😊😊

I’ve got to say, I really appreciate this video, I really hope schools can teach students easier method on how to solve problems in math. Thank you for your hard work on this video
Is there an explanation of the method using an a b c trinomial?
Yes, it is this video and others like it. A trinomial is three terms, you only need to factor out the x as a GCF first.
@@MathlessonswithLinda I was refering to quadratics and understand what you mean by factoring. What I mean is given this trinomial, A*x^2+B*x+C, is there a general rational for the method and choices you described. Or, why not just use the Quadratic Formula.
I the quadratic formula seems less complicated. Maybe because I learned to start with the general and then apply it.
That's not a quadratic tho, it's a cubic polynomial
It was quadratic after she factored out the x.
(2x+3)(2x+5). I used your method and that of Mrhtutorials. Excellent job❤
(3x-15)(3x-4) but 3(x-5)(3x-4) so it is (x-5)(3x-4) from components getting rid of common factor.
If you multiply your answer back together, you do not get the original stated problem. You have a few computational errors.

U made it look easy
How do you apply this method to (for instance) x^2-20x+2 = 0 .... ac=2 and b=-20?
Use the AC method when the A is a number other than one. You cannot factor this, you must use the quadratic formula or completing the square.
They never showed us that in school it just makes it so much easier
2x^2-5x+2=0, You need not apply any formula here Straight away you can form the equation ×+1/×= 4+1/4,this gives ×=4or 1/4, very easy Only when in a×^2+b×+c b=-a^2+1 or b= - c^2+1, a=c Mukund
How I factored this was: 1) x (2x2 - 7x - 15) 2) x (x^2 - 7x - 30) # multiply A & C 3) x (x - 10)(x+3) --> x (x - 10/2)(x+3/2) #Factor, then divide the constants by 'A' Answer: x = 0, 5, -3/2
Thank you❤🎉❤
Thank you
(2x-1)(x-2) = 0 x= 1/2 or 2
Hi can you help explain trinomials and polynomials. I'm stuck on the question X squared + 5x + 4 / x squared+ 4x +3
