Congratulations! Did your dealership charge you an additional premium over MSRP?
Thank you for your comment! No premium over MSRP, but I had to buy a couple of the offered products. 1. PPF 2. 2nd year service maintenance.
O dvě videa vejš ještě Carrera S a teď už jenom Carrera… To je sešup😅
Thank you for your comment! I originally had 2 orders. 1st was the CS2 - 7 MT, and the 2nd was C2 - 8 PDK. I wanted Model S, but unfortunately, it takes longer to get the allocation. The BASE came through, so I took it 😁
I noticed your end of production picture shows the car with the orange front reflectors; and in the delivery video it has the European clear reflectors. Did you swap them out at pick up or did the dealership do that?
Thank you for your comment! It's extra, but I had it done at the dealership on the day of pickup. IMO, It's worth the extra. When it's lid, it is orange, clear when not. It matches my black and white theme. I will do another video on all my upgrades soon! 😊
Thanks for sharing Derek. Beautiful 911!
THANK YOU!! 😊
차 멋있네요. 축하합니다~
Thanks for your comment! 감사합니다!!
Thank you for sharing
Thank you for watching!
congrats!. For me, it will be base 911. More than enough :)
Cool Building Specs! almost same tase as mine :)..
First of All, thanks for this detailed review which is a must for any 911 lover :). as for the comparision, i see the new 2025 992.2 is more sportish in look from its previous generation: silky , well designed. Although i prefer the old key imbeded switch, but this is the future tech designs which we have to accept. I am a semi-Sporty guy, so i will go for base model with: exhaust system, sport chrono ( actually i dont need it, but will be useful on resale ) and sport body kit. Thats it for me Also, would be great to know what options you would consider for base? Cheers
Thank you for your comment! I like the knob switch, and the Analog Tachometer, but overall, you're right. The new 992.2 does look sportier. Porsche designers just don’t miss a beat IMO. Here is the link to my other video on my spec in episode 2: th-cam.com/video/-0zttSPybh4/w-d-xo.html I might have gone too far on options. I had to on some of those not because I needed them, but useful on resale.😁
@@soonsup1004 True! thinking of having these option for a resale is nice if you are not going to keep your 911 for long time. I have a cayenne 2023 now. The plane is to buy the 911 before it goes fully EV (Sadly). I believe the price will jump sharply for the petrol by then.
Sweet ride!! She’s a beauty!! 👏🏼👏🏼😍🤩Congratulations again and again!! 🎉🥳
THANK YOU!!😀
What color?
Thank you for your comment! It's a standard white.
I think it looks better in every way....especially the rear, much more updated and aggressive look.
Congratulations beautiful car God bless you 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🎉🎉🎉🎉
THANK YOU!!😁
Gratulation from Germany !🤩🥳👍👍👍
THANK YOU!!😁
Congrats boss!
THANK YOU!!😁
Interesting, good to know. I guess that could make sense. Originally I had specked a C4S and with in months of waiting I changed my mind with my dealership and told them inward a C2S (in manual for both cars). About a year into my waiting they offered me a C4S allocation wondering if I might change my mind. I was tempted but didn’t do it. Anyway, don’t ever apologize for only having a base Carrera or a PDK. I would’ve gotten a base Carrera if they were offered in manual (which I really wanted). It’s all the car you need and then a lot more. Incredible! And the PDK, as you’re well aware of is amazing as well. Your base with the PDK almost has an identical 0-60 rate as my S because the PDK is so fast and so good. Congratulations once more to you!
Congrats. Looks great and enjoy. I am envious. Hard work paying off is always greatness.
THANK YOU!😀
Congrats!
THANK YOU!!😀
Wow! Either you were extremely lucky or I was extremely unlucky. From the the time I put down a deposit, it was 26 months until I received my 911. I waited 19 months to get my allocation (Carrera S). I’m happy for you. It’s a beautiful car. As for the 992.2 being hybrid, so it goes. Onward and upward. Eventually even the 911’s will be full electric and then they’ll be as fast as a Tesla (or most other electric cars. Lol!)
Thank you for your comment! I wanted Carrera C2S 7MT, but I was told that it would take a lot longer to get an allocation than the BASE. I didn't want to wait, so went with the BASE/PDK. I think I did OK though since they are all going hybrid or electric now, and I would only want 911 in ICE. 😁
Good for you young man. Makes me think of my first Porsche. I waited 6 months for it to arrive. I was 2 years out of engineering school and I saved every nickel to get the down payment up to 50% of the purchase price so I could afford the payments and still be in solid financial shape.
THANK YOU!😀 You did good. Great planning!
Welcome to the club
THANK YOU!!😁
Congratulations you will love it. Porsche, there is no substitute. 😎
THANK YOU! 😁
Congratulations. It's a beautiful car, and I'm sure it will give you years of pleasure. Nice spec. Well done achieving your dream.
Thank you for your comment! Yes. So far, it's given me nothing but pleasure. Great experience driving 911. 😁 THANK YOU!
Recenty bought a 2023 c2s. Think the 992.1 should be better than future variants. Pure ICE w/o added complexity of hybrid.
Thank you for your comment! I agree with you. If I was a track guy then maybe, but for me it's not about going 0.1 sec faster. It's about driving Porsche 911, pure ICE. It somehow feels good when I'm behind the wheel. I only wish it was 7MT. I miss shifting gears.😁
i've the same car, but with the carrera classic wheels......congratulations
THANK YOU! 😁
Congratulations! My 992.1 Carrera T arrives in a few weeks! Happy smiles with those miles!
THANK YOU! 😄
Well done from Manchester UK 💙💙💙
THANK YOU! 😄
Will you get PPF?
Thank you for your comment! It's actually on it already. I did the front half of the vehicle since the rear comes with the stone guard from the factory, and I felt that was good enough. It's great. I can't even tell if it's on it, unless I get up close.😊
Jason is also my sales guy. My Carrera S will be here in a few weeks.
You'll be so happy when you pick up your vehicle. It's even better in person. Yours is even better than mine. ^^ Is yours 7 Speed MT? Enjoy your new Carrera S!
@@soonsup1004 Yes. I ha to have the manual transmission.
What a beauti
THANK YOU!!😁
Congrats! Love it!
Thank you!!
Beautiful ride my man!! Congratulations to you! Happy Miles!!
THANK YOU!😁
I'm a little confused by the title. Is this your very first Porsche 911 or your very first white Porsche 911? Enjoy it!
Thank you for your comment! You're right. It is confusing. It's my very first Porsche 911. The title has been corrected. 😁 Thanks!
Awesome! It’s beautiful. And I love how it was presented to you. Enjoy!
I’ve had a lot of nice cars in my life but I’ve never owned a Porsche I will someday congratulations on the new car it’s beautiful
THANK YOU! 😁
Congratulations!
Thank you!
sweet whip! I enjoy driving mine every time I get in it! Base Porsche is the best and the purest 911 experience in my OP!!!
Thank you for your comment! I really enjoy driving this car. The looks and the performance of the vehicle is just amazing IMO. I am sure S or GTS has its own merits, but BASE serves me well. 😄
Congrats! My 992.1 should arrive end of July
Thank you for your comment! You'll be so happy when you pick up your vehicle. It's even better in person. Enjoy your new car in July!😀
So happy for you. I recently picked up my S and enjoyed every minute of it! Keep reliving the experience everyday since, and even better I keep looking out at it every chance I get, almost like I can’t believe it’s mine lol. So worth the wait 🤩
Thank you for your comment! From the test drive to actually having it picked up was just a great experience for me. The looks and the performance of the vehicle is just amazing IMO. I actually do the same. I look at the car every chance I can...😃
Out if all the reviews, this is the best! No BS music, just facts
THANK YOU!! 😄
I only see the lack of manual transmission as the knock on the 992.2 GTS, which is now more powerful than the 991.1 Turbo S. I am going for the 992.2 GTS Cab,.
Porsche tends to always managed make the .2 prettier.
Just priced a new 911 Carrera out and it’s over a buck thirty Way way too much Keeping my 2022
The 992.2 base model is much improved, it has the previous GTS turbos and the Turbo intercooler. If you don’t want a hybrid, the 992.2 Carrera T will be a MONSTER with a tune.
I've a 992 Turbo S. I dont see any reason to 'upgrade' to the 2.2. The vertical fins at the front are goofy as is the look of the front w.out side lights. The hybrid is a dilution of the architecture IMO but clearly I know why they did that (emissions). I genuinely prefer the 992. I also thinking that removing the analog rev display was a huge mistake. That design touch was very cool when they brought that in to the 992
The GTS got the super car status, the Carrera a few visual changes for a lot more money. The one to buy if you can is the GTS. With no T or S, the base is way over priced.
Inflation adjusted, the 992.2 is a better deal than the 992.1. The base is now a detuned 992.1 GTS with the intercooler from the previous Turbo. RAS and matrix headlights are now standard. The 922.2 Carrera T will be a monster with a tune, I’m talking 600+ HP without mods.
I don't mind the push button and I actually like the changes to the front, but I really don't like what they did to the rear. There's just something off about it.
They eliminated the bulge between the exhaust and the bottom of the wing. Looks anemic and flat. Not great visual upgrades.
992.1 owners rejoice !
Tbh... few changes in the looks, which matters for different tastes... performance is not impressively changed , so my 992.1 carrera s (with aerokit) is fine for the next 4 years until we see the new 911 next gen
IMHO 992.1 ICE powered is plenty fast. You don’t need that extra HP from the electric motor unless you’re a track guy. 911, even the BASE is already stupid fast. That extra speed of some milliseconds won’t get you much except maybe make your wallet lighter. I’m pretty sure 992.2 won’t be priced the same as 992.1. Porsche always raises the price around 10%. Just enjoy your new Porsche and drive.
Thank you for your comment! You’re right. I should just enjoy driving. I don’t care much for Hybrid, but I would hate to see my new Porsche look dated before I even get to drive…LOL.
Yep, you can always "be chasing" instead of enjoying! I've stopped with a 2019 991.2 4 gts with zero plans to change. Perfect fit for me!!! Many/most "experts' I've heard said the base Carrera was the best way to go for many reasons, including resale as long as you don't overdo it with options, which you didn't. You made a great choice! Enjoy it!!! I've got 50k on mine. They need to be driven to stay their healthiest!!! 😀
@@soonsup1004 they are never "dated." Always classic/gorgeous look!
Congrats. You did good. The base model is the best value as you can get the GTS horsepower just by doing an engine remap; probably after your warranty expires. After looking at build pricing, I’m amazed at how much more they cost now than pre pandemic. They were like $105k now the same car is $145k; like a 40% increase. Porsche said it’s not inflation, rather, they needed to jack-up the pricing on the ICE cars to cover the money they are losing on EVs.
Thank you for your comment! Wow... I didn't know about 40% increase. Yes, someone did mention about the remap that would increase the horsepower for about $2K. I will most likely look into that, but you are right, definitely after the warranty expires ^^.
Also just built your specs on the T model and price difference was only $2,490. The T comes standard with sports exhaust, and the lightweight package, PSAM lowered suspension, Porsche torque vectoring, mechanical limited slip, standard is sports crono and GT wheel
Thank you for your comment! The Carrera T is just a beautiful car and I actually thought of getting that in 7 Speed MT, but the allocation was the issue. The base was the quickest I was told, and when I actually got the call, I just went for it. You're right. T is probably better bet, but I just didn't want to wait.
