Hey Bill…a Jets fan here. You REALLY were bothered by the Scheifele comment….i mean that was quite a rant lol. I’m sure you don’t watch Jets interviews but of course the media also made something about his comments. He was a bit surprised at all the fuss. Said growing up in Kitchener, he watched the Leafs as a kid. So being able to maybe win in front of friends and his family is a pretty big deal for him. And honestly…it’s more that his comments were caught on camera. You don’t think other Canadian team players don’t find joy in beating the leafs. The Media’s Chosen Team!! As for the playoff talk. Ya, Toronto is the original six. Plenty of fine years there. BUT…since 2006 the leafs have missed the playoffs 10 times, got eliminated in the first round 8 times. Only made it past the first round once. Not really much bragging rights as of late😏 Anyways…..merry Christmas to you and yours. Let’s see what the rest of the season holds in store!!

It is pretty obvious that all the Canadian teams and their fans love beating the Leafs and rubbing it in our faces which is why I often don't care about them winning the cup, they would be insufferable.
