Why they didn't release a medievil 2 remaster is beyond me. All the hardwork was done from the first remake, the gameplay and a lot of the assets could've been reused. Minimal effort required. Put them on one disk like the crash nsane trilogy, or cash in a release it separately

I did play this in college and I recently picked it up again on a Steam sale. From what I remember it was fricking awesome. Now it looks lame. Maybe older games are better off remembered. I did not play DS2 or DS3, so maybe those will be better.

I respect your opinion but I disagree that it was like the downfall of the series. If any other re games worth the pick for that blame would be 5 and 6 as soon as Shinji Mikami took a step back, Capcom basically just copy and pasted from 4 and made 5 and 6. The same goes for the spin offs like revelations. But it’s funny dead space and flurry of other ips did a phenomenal job in survival horror than the re games after 4. I sincerely believe code veronica was the very last true resident evil game. Re 4 is a ps2 masterpiece but in the end its just a Kung fu plus shooting gallery to me. Personally what I find so annoying is the number of breakable objects in the original re 4 as well as the remake oh I think the same for 7 and 8 which I personally like a lot but the items, ammo and money are everywhere and the merchant system is so unnecessary and annoying too.

There's the first price (thats Crazy High) the second (thats a Third Off) then my price (a year later patched up and fixed, Black Friday price)

It aggravated me that they didn’t remake Medievil 2 in the same fashion Crash Baniboot N Sane Trilogy and Spyro Reignited did with their OG Trilogy of games they could’ve totally done the same with this Duo of games it was laziness on their part I do think lot of fans of Medievil 2 myself included felt cheated especially since they already had remade Medievil in 2005 on PSP Medievil Resurrection with little changes such as Zarok’s final boss transformation, the little annoying Gnome character that talks to you and such. I think I gravitate to Medievil II more than the OG because I played it first and grew fond of the levels, weapons, enemies, bosses and more importantly the story as simple as it was those tend to be the best ones and I would’ve LOVED to see what Palethorn, Mander, Dogman, The Professor, Kiya, Jack The Ripper, The Count, Iron Slugger, Tyrannosaurus Wrecks etc all would look like in a modern remaster.

But is this PC? I hate that i search "battlefield 4 2024 ps5" and see nothing but PC. I dont want to argue platforms so please elitiest idc. Does anyone know if its active on PS?

Comparing this game to Skyrim when it comes to side content is insane. You can play Skyrim for years and find new stuff and you play starfield for a couple hours and you e pretty much seen it all.

is it possible to unlock heroes like Cewbacca only when playing offline?

Funny enough, I think MediEvil 2 was a better game between the two. If they remade the second game, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Underworld was a dark game.(Obviously , not as much as angel of darkness)The ending and even the beggining was sad(Amelia has been zombified and Alister got killed by the doppelganger)But really, the Thailand level was a very well designed level. The intro in Lara's mansion was epic, as much as the soundtrack of the game is. Haven't played the "beneath the ashes" dlc, but i ve watched a walkthrough and i admit that it has to be even more entertaining compared to the main game. Played both the console (ps2) and pc version. The console version is a shame compared to the pc.

To be honest I never heard of medievil before and now I do and its damn shame that medievil never gets anymore love and I didn't actually know that it didn't sell very well for the remake because I thought after playing this game I assume it received very well and so much praise because of how the game looks and the soundtrack too. I was hoping whether or not if medievil 2 gets a sequel but to be honest I hope that it does get a remake but I feel like it's not in the cards or not gonna happen anytime soon to be honest I can still try to hope on it despite how it didn't sell doesn't mean I didn't enjoy playing the remake. I enjoyed it and it makes me want to play the original ones from PS1.

I got it on gog in a bundle with Space Hulk Death Wing, which I haven't tried. I'm enjoying this game, jank and all, though I could see how others may prefer more polished games.
