I actually love these little guys, yeah they are invasive, but if you are a lazy gardener they make excellent soil preppers, they are easy to pull out but take a nice chuck of dirt out with them. Drop a couple of desired seeds in there shake the dirt from the roots back into the hole done and done.

Moringa is known as "never die" in africa.....expect that to come back every year unless you get a super super long freeze the roots get so big and thick there is usually enough of them to allow it to come back even when it dies down to the ground. i found that out myself when i thought mine was dead as well and dug up a huge root and was like wait let me plant this back low and behold it came back. but then we got ice for over a week now that year it did get taken out. i need to get another tree this coming spring. my fuyu persimmon fruits on the new growth the next year. idk what you did to yours to get them to grow that fast but keep doing it because persimmons are traditionally slow growers that one must like where its at.
