Creating art from traditional drawing and painting to using out of the box mediums and approaches (even Trash). Fine art, pop art, sculpture, upcycling with a bit of engineering thrown in. You never know what we might create on the Art side.
Silent Hill 2 PYRAMID HEAD diorama from CLAY & Scrap Metal!
I made a scratch build sculpture of Silent Hill 2's Pyramid Head using scrap metal and clay. This is a special Halloween edition build in addition it is a nod to the newly released Silent Hill 2 remake and yes for those of you wondering, Big Sister is still on the way! This build is 17 inches (43 cm) tall . Along with the metal and clay various junk was used to create this terrifying sculpture #silenthill2024 #pyramidhead #scratchbuild #scratchbashing

Amazing TMNT dioramas from old TOYS, rusty NAILS & LEATHER!
มุมมอง 5K7 หลายเดือนก่อน
I took my kids' old Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles toy action figures and did a total makeover. Starting with a completely new custom warpaint. Then plastic accessories were removed and replaced with real leather upgrades. The weapons are also upgraded with real wood and steel crafted weapons. And to top it off all four Turtles received unique dioramas builds with lighting to fit each Turtles uni...
How does this only have 2.2k views?? This is amazing
Also I'm not sure if you mention in the video, but what clay and wire do you use?
I totally agree 😉. . . Thank you for your comments! Hopefully the channel will keep growing with each video and YT will throw more impressions my way. Thanks again 👍
@@springlocked I was using original sculpy for the clay, and just some generic aluminum armature wire from Amazon. Sorry I missed your question earlier, for some reason YT doesn't always notify me.
@@TalesFromTheArtSide Thanks!
I love these dioramas so much. These videos inspire me to delve into my miniature hobby even more
Thank you! I am so glad my videos inspired you! It would be great to see some of your creations. Thank you for watching!
I'd definitely would pay to have this; this is a great diorama! Nice work!
Thank you so much for your comments! I really appreciate it! I figure if someone is willing to buy something like this I'm doing a good job. Thank you for watching!
This was a nice Halloween treat!
Thank you Happy late Halloween
What exactly do you use for the eyes?
For the eyes I used small ball bearing.
I still get blown away by your talent every time! It surprises me how you can turn something like a napkin and an old bed frame into a beautiful work of art. With that being said, my lamp up here at college just broke and it has some fun features to it that you might be able to use so I'll make sure to get it to you somehow!
Thank you so much! I can always use more broken junk to inspire new pieces and repurpose. Thank you for watching and supporting the channel 😁!
I am shocked at how easily you put together the sculpture of his body but then sadly so much of that work was covered. You’re an amazing artist, you really do it all 🤌
Yeah it's like building a house you frame it out and it all gets covered up, but without a good frame whatever you cover it with won't look right.
You are truly a master sculptor/ fabricator! Thank you again for sharing your talent with us all!
Wow, thank you! Thank you for watching, and helping support the channel.
Awesome! Out of curiousity, what is your background/profession? Curious how you learned to do all of this.
I have worked as a video game 3d modeler, ( environments and characters, props etc) as well as well concept artist, and a traditional oil painter for my personal work. So I guess I do a bit of everything. Thanks again! Have you seen the big daddy videos yet. ?
@@TalesFromTheArtSide Thanks! Yes I have seen them all. I'm big into video games. Have you worked on any big titles?
@@nickp3173 Better known titles, Madden, Tiger Woods golf
@@TalesFromTheArtSide Awesome!
Insane! Super impressed with this. Amazing work my friend! Can't wait for the next one!
Thank you! Glad you liked it! Yeah I have the next one in the works right now.
I thought that was the gilbertona 😮
I had to look that one up! There is a bit of resemblance!
@TalesFromTheArtSide it was a very popular old person that recently passed away 😭
I would LOVE to see you do something, ANYTHING, from the 2016 game The Last Guardian. That game never gets enough love and i think your creativity would have a ton of fun❤
I have not played that game yet. I will look into it. I keep adding to my list of possible themes. Thank you for the suggestions! And thank you for watching!
Whouha !! 👍👍
Thank you! 😊
I thought that was the Dwayne Wade statue
I can see the resemblance!😆
Just when I thought I've seen it all, this way up gifted artist struck my brain with another masterpiece. I hardly can't wait for his next creation. I'll be thankful to you while I wait for you to deliver your next big surprise. Once again, congratulations.
Now I'm blushing!😊 Thank you so much. The new project is in progress! I wish I could do this full time so I could get them created faster and better. Thank you for your support!
This was a GREAT representation! The MASTERY of craft here is apparent with this one! Can't wait for THE Big Sister!😁
Oh, man thank you very much! I'm excited about the big Sister too. I think it's going to turn out well. Thanks for your continued support!
Dude that's sick
Sweet, thank you very much!
Have I got completely crazy or I've just witnessed the best ever build-up from scratch in the history of me as a TH-cam viewer. It's an insanely majesty dream. Thank you, thank you very much for sharing your gifted talent with our eyes. Congratulations.
Wow, I think this is one of the best compliments/ comments I have received! When my work makes you question your sanity I guess it's a good piece 😉! Thank you very much!
Yes ! Pyramid head apparently does not have a face! So you can make him look like whatever you want!❤
😂 I choose Burt. Thank you for watching!
@@TalesFromTheArtSide Yes no problem! Burt i agree 😂
Perfect Halloween build. I wonder if alongside your bioshock series you could make other popular horror game characters as a side series?
I'm playing with the idea of Resident Evil characters. What do you think
@TalesFromTheArtSide I definitely think you should go for it. Resident evil has a lot of iconic antagonists that would work great as sculptures. Anyone particular in mind?
@@Pebblemeistro5689 I was thinking Dr Salvador, Strum from the Village, nemesis, there's a lot to choose from still thinking about it.
As always another banger my guy, keep up the bad ass work
Thank you! Glad I didn't let you down.
Another great build. Good timing with the Silent Hill 2 remake coming out
Thanks again!
This piece looks incredible, the usage of real metal really adds to it. If you want a more realistic blood effect for your models, ive got a little technique you can try if you'd like, you can mix red, green, and blue food coloring. Adding more green and blue will make it darker and grittier. Then, add clear Elmer's glue, or any other kind of clear glue, and for an aged, chunky look, add coffee grains the more grains, the darker and thicker it will appear. Once it dries, it becomes pretty solid and looks like something out of a hollywood movie. Just keep it dry if you do end up trying this, it’ll turn pink if it gets wet, so seal it or cover it with Mod Podge.
Thank you for the tips. I will try it on the next project I need blood!
The Silent Hill franchise has been a favourite of mine since I was a kid and this is probably the best rendition of Pyramid Head I've seen. I love the base, it emulates the dilapidated world when you shift into the nightmare realm. Wonderful attention to detail. It's nice to see a maker incorporate fabrics and metal into the design. The 3D gore was a nice cherry on top. Excellent job! New sub.
Sweet, thanks you so much for your appreciation for my art! So glad you liked it!
Super awesome!
👍 Thank you very much!
This is one of the most - if not THE most impressive builds on TH-cam. The effort, ingenuity, and craftsmanship that went into this project deserves the highest of praise. Well done.
WOW, thank you so much for such a compliment! Thank you for watching and taking time to comment.
Awesome. Congrats on the final end result.
Thank you! Yeah when you start a project like this you hope it will turn out well. Thank you for watching and commenting.
Youre an under appreciated gem on this platform. Between this and the Big Daddy you have genuine skill. I only hope you get the recognition you deserve one day
I really appreciate your comments. Yeah it's hard to feel like you're doing good work but trying to get it seen /figuring out You tube is the frustrating part. Thank you for your support!
Where you able to watch the Handyman build? If so what did you think? Thank you again.
@@TalesFromTheArtSide I did watch it, it was great. I love the vibe of your commentary, it feels cozy and welcoming. Same goes for this video and the big daddy
Keep it up man! Awesome stuff here !
Thanks! Will do! 😃
Amazing !!! Is there any chance for (my favorite) Pinhead - Hellraiser ? xD
Thank you very much! Pinhead would be interesting. I will have to keep it in mind. So many cool things to build, so little time.
Silent Hill.....Sesame Street style! ABCs will never be the same.
😂 👍
that made me laugh so much, burt under the helmet, I like that better then the other you said. great work, super detailed, liked that you used metal in the sculping haven't really seen that before. I don't think it would be as good, if you just sculpt it out of clay.
I'm glad you enjoyed the Burt gag and the sculpture! Thank you for watching.
Missed the premiere yesterday but made time to watch this today and was once again not disappointed! Another wonderful work of art, man!
I'm really glad you liked it! I love share these builds with those that appreciate them.
Great build
Thank you! 👍 So glad you liked it 😁
this is SO awesome
Thank you very much! I REALLY appreciate it! 😊
@@TalesFromTheArtSide of course!!
WTH. I just watched the big daddy and now this! How do you see all the uses from this stuff. I mean I kitbash from junk but these are crazy. I may be just on a bioshock kink Coz man I love those games. But these builds are crazy good!
Sweet I'm so glad you are loving these. A lot of work goes into them and it's great when they are appreciated. Thanks again!
i love this so much
Thank you very much! 😁
Incredible work as always 👍👍
Thank you, I really appreciate it. And thank you for continuing to watch. It really helps support the channel.
Sickest build I've ever seen 😮
Wow thank you for the compliment! Have you watched the Handyman or Pyramid Head builds yet? Oh FYI Big Sister is on the way! Thank you for watching!
Just missing the googly eyes on the helmet 😉 Awesome work!! Can’t wait for Big Sister!
Ah man sorry for letting you down for not having googly eyes 😁. Thank very much, yeah Big Sister is still on the way, I just had to take a small Halloween detour. Thank you for your return viewing!
Man i love to see you tackle other horror game icons. Like Dr Salvador or OG nemesis. Excellent work as always!
I really like those ideas! I was thinking about a series of RE inspired builds. Do you think people would enjoy those? What about Strum from RE The Village?:
Og nemesis would be super cool
I just found your channel a couple weeks ago and binged everything in one day, I did not expect another video so soon!! What a treat!! Great job!!!
Wow, thank you for watching all my videos! It really helps me build this channel. Yeah I pushed hard to get something out for Halloween. So glad you liked it.
I like how every piece of scrap has a story, like I don't think I've ever considered the value of a napkin before, but with these videos I'm like, yeah that's a cool napkin look how useful it is!
Yeah, you get to see things from a new perspective. Thank you 👍
THE ATTENTION TO DETAIL IS CRAZYYY, already subscribed
Thank you so much! And thank you for being a subscriber, it helps a lot.
you need at least a magnitude of 5 times more views and subscribers than you have right now, absolutely wild, you're the best craftsman i know on this website
Wow thank you! I wish I knew how to work YT better, to get the views and subs as well. Thank you for your support. If you know anyone else that might like me work as well please share. Thanks again!
