I'm a big fan of the Recon 1 series. This Magnacut version made in Italy sounds unique. If nothing else it could be a good investment especially if they stop making them under the Magnacut name. Mine came a bit stiff out of the box but like always hair popping sharp. Thanks for the review there aren't many!

Great looking knife. Practical and great for tactical use as well. The tip can be used like a chisel to remove floor boards and tiles too. I have a few Recon 1 Tantos. They’re awesome knives. Good video!

Great job bro! Did you take the scales off first before grinding? And did you do anything to keep the blade cool while grinding? Did your knife come uncoated? I recently got the magnacut version. It's not fidgety? You can thumb flick, spydey flick, front flip, reverse flick, flick open using the compression lock, two hand grandpa slow open, etc. The Shaman and Bodacious are mad fidgety!

beautiful knife, looks to me from video a 20 % lock up which is perfect. This rubbing noise is just the ball detent rubbing on the blade once a track is formed it will be silent. I always put a bit of KPL on the detent ball to lubricate and help the break in.
