What happens to the dumpsters, containers, and compactors that can't be refurbished?

Just curious if Waste Management is all about recycling how come your yard don't recycle the metal parts & plastic lids.

Those lids don't belong on the trash that material can be grinded down to sherds and be reutilized to make more lids

My old neighborhood in Hayward at the time (94-2008) ran the Volvo WXLL Kann Co Collect One Pass Trucks like my profile pic. Thoes Trucks were awesome! That is a lot of paper, aluminum, cans and bottles in that load that could be recycled instead of end up in a landfill. Maybe they will sort it all out at the transfer station and recycle it.

i work for Peterbilt as a mechanic and a lot of WM trash trucks for sure a dirty job but cool seeing them go back to service, its a hard industry for the trucks and people, lol are number one replaced thing is axel housing and fly wheel housing, due to the trucks being well used, cool to see how yall operate :D

That is a lot of stuff that could be recycled that is mixed in with the garbage. Maybe the people at the transfer station will sort this out and recover this so it avoids going to the landfill.

They color the bins like Loa Angeles. One for trash, one for recyclables, and the last for organics. A few have brown because of the horses. Great videos.
