On this day, September 28th, 2024, I went on a beach trip with my mother to Cocoa Beach on the East side of Florida. This is a single video, not a series, of a non-Disney theme park trip.
It began at 5:00am with me waking up, and doing my dental hygiene routine. Then I made a packed breakfast on a lunchbox, and loaded it, and all of the other beach trip supplies into the car. Then, at 6:00am sharp, my mom and I left the house and departed to the beach.
After a close to 90-minute drive, my mom and I finally made to the beahc. We parked in the parking lot, unloaded all of our stuff, walked over to the beach area, and set up the chairs, an umbrella, a cooler, and a beach bag. After applying my sunscreen all over my face and body, I went into the water, and began to collect seashells.
During the course of our time at the beach, my mom and I collected the most seashells we ever collected on a beach trip. We didn’t play in the sand or make sand castles or anything, but we still did plenty of swimming and shell collecting.
Finally, by 10:10am, my mom and I packed up out stuff, took a shower at the beach’s provided shower stations near the parking lot, and we went into the restrooms to change into regular clothes, and we finally left the beach.
As a downpour began to close in minutes after leaving the beach, my mom and I found a restaurant called “Cocoa Beach Ale House”, and it’s there where we had lunch. My mom had a salad, while I had a turkey club sandwich with mashed potatoes. After we ate, mom paid the check,and we left the restaurant. Once back in the car, we ate a “Greenwise” brand chocolate cake together for dessert, with us each having half of it.
After dessert, we finally left the beach, and 90 minutes later, we got close to our home. We did have to stop at an “Aldi” store for some food shopping, but when we went home afterwards without issue.
Once we got back home, I basically put everything away, and that was the end of our only beach trip of 2024. We will try to do more next summer in 2025.
