Devizes is in the centre of Wilts. Marlborough has been spelt 29 different ways in the past.In St Marys church there is a small life size carving of a cat which got burned to death trying to save all her kittens fron the tower which was burning inside the door on the left.

Its full of crap restaurants .marlborough is a joke .So many have come along and opened restaurants that would not last a second in London etc .The world famous "Polly" tea rooms !!!!!!!!!!! its dirty and the food very very poor. Waitrose sell better cakes. The new coffee shop down by the college . what a Joke ! Best food in marlborough is the Lamb. But the 7 Stars just outside marlborough is in a different league Dont bother stopping for food or coffee/tea etc , its a waste of time
