​@@jasonroberts6590Danny did this for 2 reasons. 1) His mother and himself had pledged celibacy. His mother broke that pack and Danny is low-key upset about it. I noticed that because he mentioned it more than once how he was proud of his mother but she "lost control of her lady parts" 2) Danny made it clear he wasn't going to have sex with any woman until he met the right one. Even though I believe Danny should not have married her in one day, I believe he only did because he wanted to have sex and he didn't want to do it outside of marriage.

@@karatinamccants1355 I think majority of the issue is the fact that he ran off and got married and mom of course wanted to be involved. A lot of parents wait for the day their children get married and she didn't even know the girl to be able to approve of the marriage (which of course he doesn't necessarily need her approval). The other issue is because mom ran off and married Philip when she thought the baby was coming after she included Danny in the preparation for the wedding. I believe he married her to spite his mom because he's upset which is the reason he keeps bringing it up. Another reason is because Danny in my honest opinion didn't want to have sex until he was married which was the reason he rushed so quickly. I think he saw his mom's situation and didn't want to end up with a pregnant girl out of wedlock. But it's interesting that Troy also wanted to marry Danny though they just met.
