I love the extreme hesitation, it's uncomfortable but also like okay, let's just do it 😂 I love this. In my late teens i experimented with shrooms and one of our big chubby guy friends starts talking like Elmo, as he did, I couldn't tell where the sound was coming from (shrooms) I looked around the room and I see his mouth moving but the sound seemed to be delayed. It freaked me OUT! The next day I asked him to do it again, and he of course acted like he had no idea what I was talking about. 😅

great job dude a year ago I went sober for one whole year and yes it will be difficult but things will get easier. Yes I drink (not as prevalent as before) however you can do it and keep it up

+R.D. C.B. I would love to say that I put all my addictions down and they've never bothered me since, but that would be a lie. The truth is I still have cravings pretty frequently. The only difference now is I'm strong enough not to act on them. I didn't get here over night though. One day at a time is all we can do. Oddly enough though, I don't generally crave liquor, despite it being my go-to way to get messed up. My main cravings now are for beer and other recreational drugs. I never drank beer to get drunk (that's what the liquor was for), I always drank beer because I actually enjoy it. I liked trying new homebrews and such but since giving up everything, I can't make an exception for beer, even though I never specifically abused it. Unfortunately, I know myself and if I made an exception for one thing, it's a fast slide down and I'd end up right back where I started, or worse. So the short answer is yes, I still crave. I wish I was like the majority of other people who can recreationally drink or use but I'm not so I just find ways to steer clear and stay clean. It's an every day struggle but I'm fighting for my life so no matter how hard it gets, it will always be worth it.
