While running is high impact and can do some damage to the knees if done incorrectly, running with IMPROPER form, doing too much too soon is the recipe for disaster for you knees, it is not the running rather the way you were running that led to this outcome, I am runner myself and a competitive one and have no problems in my knees whatsoever
Lucky, I think it’s because I progressively overloaded too fast. I went from running 21km from treadmill to outside. Every weekend. I went to physio and he said it’s overuse injury. He checked my form and everything. But good comment, the improper form is usually the case.
Everyone should do cardio, it’s very important. But it is literally catabolic to muscle growth so it has its place in training. It does not grow muscle very well unless you’re completely untrained
I agree but cyclist have big legs because they cycle. But that isn’t the point, the point is that you can do cardio WHILE lifting not that cardio helps build gains. You know what I mean?

And you don’t gain fat while eating this much? Am definitely different and not super muscular yet but idk if I should start eating more for better muscle growth or keep cutting bc like I still have stomach fat and stuff. I eat about 1000 cals for this but I’m short so it’s not that bad, and I do a good amount of exercise.

Fasting is to not consume liquids/ edibles
It’s important to drink liquids during fasting or you may have serious problems due to dehydration, it just needs to be things with really really low calorie counts such as kombucha or coffee

I felt dizzy when fasting. What should I do to keep fasting?
Keep all of your electrolytes in check. I used to hate fasting. After making sure electrolytes are in check, it made even a 36 hour fast way easier. I still feel weaker and had less energy but that's because my body was being depleted of glycogen to enter in ketosis
Gotta hydrated more man, I’d recommend taking some electrolytes like the other guy recommends asw
Start with a 12 hour fast and gradually get better overtime, remember a fast is up to your body to decide so always consider its limits
The only thing I’m motivated to do while I’m fasting is eat
That why you have to use that motivation and at least try to translate it into something else

I like Brian's work. Especially in regards to Sleep quality and being honest about food production and ingredients. The Paleo-Vegan approach is definitely more authentic than a lot of modern vegan food which is genetically modified and highly processed. Made this dish myself a few times but I like to add fish because I'm not vegetarian.
