Yo! ❤
Yo! 👊🍻

The view is super majestic! ❄✨
Ain't too bad 👊🍻
Where is that big bear?
Kirkwood my dude 👊🍻
What a perfect chill day brother
Yeah man not too bad 🍻👊
Dope
👊🍻
Where is that
Nevada city, CA
hey man how did you film this? nice riding btw, like the chill and smooth paths
Thanks man 🍻 just got it mounted on my helmet
Where in Reno is this?
It's not sanctioned but not really a secret
How was the wind? It was howling down here in Folsom.
Yesterday not so bad. Today it was rippin tho 😅
I like how you entered the first berm, so smooth. For me, it takes a couple berms to get feel of it.
Yeah man same...the berms are too clean 😅🍻
Not bad for early season tomorrow through Sunday gunna be sick
Yeah man lookin like three straight pow days 🍻🤘
@@KurtisGraham You on a mind expander?
@@austineversole276 stratos...best board I've owned 🍻
Whats the name of the trail? Thanks!
I sent you a DM on IG 🍻
All the trails you ride looks super fun because how u ride!!! Now it’s winter time hard to decide if I want to ski or mtb lol
Yeah dude just do both 😅👊
Are you recording with a a GoPro? If yes, do you mind if I get your record settings? Been trying to nail it down to look exactly like this.
Yeah dude no sweat! Just FYI though, you'll need to post process edit in some video editing software. I use DaVinci Resolve. -Gopro hero 9 w/ max lens mod (film 4:3 and stretch edges in post) -Bit Rate: High -Shutter: Auto -EV Comp: -1.0 -White Balance: 5500k -ISO Min: 100 -ISO Max: 800 -Sharpness: Low -Color: Flat
Best resort on the Tahoe local pass.
@@Gary-ee3kq yeah dude 👊🍻
"dw i know the trail j follow me" -*rides like there's no tomorrow*
😅👊
😂
Are you in snow?
Upper trails have been snowed in for a couple weeks but some of the lower ones are still good 🍻
This is some wild s*it! 👍👍
@@Gary-ee3kq 👊🍻
Hows are the snow conditions now?
Pretty good coverage for this early. Chair 10 opens today 🍻
How is the camera setup?
Helmet mount...but I'm using a max lens mod and filming in 4:3...then stretching it in post process edit 🍻
What if you drive up el prieto rd
What’s the best way to get there
I got there from Loma Alta Drive but looks like you can access from the other side too
Any sharks lurking below the surface this time of year?
Yeah man v sharky but still dang good coverage 🍻
What trail is this if you don't mind saying?
You rode it this past weekend?
This is from 11/22 but I'd imagine it's open and clear of snow
Damn I was hoping you’d hit the big jump! So much faster than when I ride it - impressive as always.
Yeah man the strava line is more fun I think haha 🍻👊
Glad to see it’s not totally devastated after the fire
This section is fine but it's scorched on the other side
So jealous!
👊
Beatin' the snow, eh?
Yeah man from a couple weeks ago...back to playing in the snow now though 🍻
How was it compare to Mile in Pacifica?
Waterfall is more short and sweet in comparison. Mile is better overall imo
@ KW opening early!! Are you going soon?
@@joeykim5533 yeah dude I'll be there Sunday. You going?
@ Yeah I am aiming for Monday.
What light set up are you using?
Outbound w/ the evo and hangover...recommend for sure 🍻
]Ripping bro. Is this recent? What shape are the trails in around Reno? The ones here in Folsom are soaked, although Granite Bay "should" be alright in a day or so. Everything else is pretty mudded out.
Yeah man from yesterday. Really good when I rode it...might be snowed in now though. Some trails will melt off and be fine in a couple days
Great video! I like the straight to ride concept. Keep up the good work
Thanks man appreciate that 🍻👊
Una vez estaba bajando de un cerro y me cai y di como 5 vueltas en el piso y casi me hago un esguince
Hell yeah that's sick
So jealous! How was the snow?
Yeah dude snow was alright...some ice and pretty bumpy as the day went on
Was the trail closed to you that day? No bell, no gloves .... not trying to be a hater but you're going a bit fast for a general purpose MTB trail.
You must be new here 😅
I also missed the one skinny high step down/drop that you missed @4:01 it can send you very high with with that lip
Yeah dude the approach is really weird too 🍻
@ the one has steep lips like is it better to pop or push the bar?
Nice job. I haven't ridden this trail since 26" tire days. The camera doesn't do justice to how loose and tech this trail is. The shale on the bedrock always scared the hell outta me!
Thanks man...sure it hasn't changed much since 26ers 😅 that shale is pretty gnar...different from most of tahoe
Dope
How do you find these trails?
Mostly trailforks 🍻
Show us the Strava!!
Yeah dude it's in the description 🍻
@@KurtisGraham thank you! Appreciate the video.
Is this descending from Angora Ridge to Fallen Leaf?
Yeah man exactly 🍻
I'm pretty surprised this is rated double black? Is it a lot harder and more technical than it seems from your video - watching I assumed it was more like an intermediate. I had avoided it based on the rating.
Honestly kinda complicated to say. I'd suggest hiking it first and see how you feel. Although not consistently steep, it's steep in sections, some light exposure, and skinny off camber sections 🍻
Fast AF my dude 🚀
👊🍻
Love that trail, you were haulin!
Yeah dude so fun 👊🍻
That's a dangerous bike trail with quite a bit of exposure.
The trail itself is mellow except for one spot but yeah there is some exposure 🍻
Did this last night for the 1st time. Took the Lake Clementine Trail to Foresthill Connector & then did FDLT counterclockwise. Man, that was so much fun. Ended in pitch dark. Thankfully, had a good trail light.
Hell yeah dude...looked sick 🍻 should check out culvert/confluence if you haven't...that figure 8 loop is a pretty solid ride
yo hows the riding on the west shore? Almost never go over there. Any top spots?
Yeah man check out upper big chief, otb, deer creek, and western states. Stanford Rock is fun with good views but very xc 🍻
West shore/Tahoe City actually has more trails than South Lake. True West Shore south of Stanford Rock has a lot of raw adventure riding. Be prepared for untamed raw trails and some some climbs and hike a bike sections. Tahoe City to Tahoe Vista is a maze of trails, but you need to get out and explore and pay attention to inappropriately placed stock and hidden entrances. There are a couple hundred miles of trails and lots of options for 20-40+ mile days out there.
do you start off mormon for this trail? i started working in pollock about 6 months ago so i want to find some of these trails and ride when i get off work. so far i only really know about the ones that ride along the power lines
Yep off Mormon. I'm not from there but if you know how/where to look you'll find the trails 🍻👊
have you been up there recently heard the trails are all bulldozed from the logging up there.
@@taol8258 I haven't but I thought the logging was on the opposite side
Bro you are just so good I think you are in your prime
👊🍻
