Thank you. I’m just recording this off of my IPhone so it’s not the best quality, but if you listen to it through a set of headphones, you’ll hear a difference in the warmth. As for the baritone, it’s tuned from low to high, B / E / A / D / F# / B, the lower 5th from a standard E string. It’s great to have that register if you’re singing alone or with another guitar player in standard tuning as it adds depth to a song that you don’t have to rely on a bass player for.

Cheers…on a side note to a fellow Ibanez AR player, I made a tough decision and traded mine in for this Fender Tele recently. The only thing I really miss about it is the 22nd fret. 😀

I’m using the Boss GT-1 pedal with a delay set low, and the wah pedal set to a light wah setting that I control at various times with my foot.

@@pascalsavy1306 I don’t usually vary from the standard baritone tuning to be honest as there’s so much depth within it and you could always use a capo to adjust for another song as the strings are as thick as piano wire.

If you have a chance, you should try the Ibanez AR420, as they are under $700, and have a credible array of pick up combinations, those two additional switches. Much more flexibility than most guitars with split coils. www.ibanez.com/na/products/detail/ar420_4l_04.html

In a local music store in Rock Hill, SC. I just happened to be getting guitar strings when I noticed this at the back of the row on the shelf. They took it down, I plugged it in, and I went back later that afternoon to buy it. It’s a perfect guitar if you can’t manage the weight of a Les Paul, but need that tone. The 59 pick ups will give you that.

Yes, they are the ones that comes with the guitar. I originally needed a second guitar in case I broke a string, but found it to be fantastic as a Les Paul substitute for size and sound, not to mention the price is only $700.00.

Hi JM. I’m using a Boss GT-1000 into a Headrush FRFR-112 speaker system. That’s it. The setting is for a type of Boutique amp simulation in the pedal board. Really fantastic sound from it every time.

@@thomasdemartino6109 Actually about a week ago I went and ordered a Chinese version of this. Money being an issue. Time will tell how that goes.

@@ColtraneTaylor I have 2 of the chinese versions of this bridge, "overlord of music" Had it for ages and the screws dont strip. Just use a big screw driver tip and it'll be all good. It mainly just scratches the paint off. So these steinberger ones are much better since they use actual steel

Because you’ll find two sets of parallel and series switches for each pickup to make several combinations for both single and double coil blending with 9 different combinations. No strat does that well. Plus, the neck of this ibanez is thinner than a strat, and a Les Paul so much faster overall. Try one.

I’ll also add that I helps to make sure you take the phone out of any cases in order to not hamper the microphone on the phone.

That’s a great question in that the whole reason I got it was because I can’t play Les Pauls, as they are not only to heavy for a 3-hour gig, but my hands don’t fit well around the neck profiles of a seemingly baseball bat-like neck. I got it as it weighs a couple pounds less, and had better pickup configurations for the types of wide variety of music my band covers. I will also give kudos to the CFG guitar strap as it does help with the weight distribution very well with less shoulder fatigue. And it’s only $699.00. The Super 58 pickups are great tonally to the LP in my ears.
