The Day we met Sean D Tucker 23rd June 2002. LANGLEY AFB VA AirPower over Hampton Roads.
The first time The O'Learys from Dublin saw Sean D Tucker fly was at the Neptune Festival Airshow, NAS OCEANA VB in the year 2000 and we were hooked! We went to OCEANA to see F-14 Tomcats. 2 years later we went to LANGLEY to see F-15 Eagles and by chance Sean D Tucker was performing so we went to the Flight Line to say "hello" and the rest is history .....

This is the moment the O'Leary family see Sean D Tucker's aerobatic display for the first time. The F-14 Demo was taxiing by for the Friday night show (September 22nd 2000). The occasion was the 2000 Neptune Festival Air Show at NAS OCEANA, Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA.

Being that today is 7 September 2022, and according to J Daniel's post the anticipated retirement date for this workhorse. Let me say "Well done, good and faithful servant." You served your country, and Freedom loving people around the world nobly these past 60 years. Nothing can truly replace the Boeing Platform that has proven itself all these years. The Irony is...it's replacement is a another 135! A 1964 KC-135R that was extensively modified to assume the role of the WC-135 platform. Reminds me of that old saying about how things used to be... "If it ain't Boeing, I'm not going!"
