Excellent footage, I love how you film with the camera NOT so zoomed in on John John while also capturing the length of the wall of wave. Far too many guys film so zoomed in that they often times aren’t able to keep the lens steady and the footage is horrible. I truly hope other so called “professional” videographers would film more like you. It truly is refreshing to watch your footage…THANK YOU. Keep up the great work!

I just love watching this young man, He is got sooo much style and talent with his flowing lines and wave selection. Even the roll backs of the lip is smooth and directed of where he points the rails. I hate these surfers who have this Methhead style of violent hits off the lip like they’re fight the world. It’s so over played and predictable.

Mike Ruthman..Steen Barnes..I'm not sure who captured all of this video footage and I know both of you were at the beach from 1st light and some days until dark taking photos and videos from the beach and drones ..I wish to thank you both for this incredible collaboration of kneeboarders from all around the globe in what I believe was the best kneeboarding competition in the world as jeffreys bay is an amazing wave!!this video is guaranteed to be watched over and over again by every kneeboard rider across the globe..well done to everyone involved in the making of this and hopefully in the near future we see each other again..VIVA KNEEBOARDING FOREVER !!

Of course he rips. He’s surfed probably 20 thousand hours in his lifetime. What’s the songs ?

MC is such a legend. He still draws such good lines. Been riding his boards since he first pitched up in France started shaping there. Gutted when I moved to SA from Aus' and could get any more. Those fishes he made for Slater and Machado for Biarritz, Lacanau and Hossegor were incredible. To be still frothing in his 70's, still pushing shaping forward and seeing such stoke for his first journey to J-bay is an inspiration. With all he's been through with the the jail, the racism, the depression and recently the heart issues that man has lived a life.
