This is an amazing setup. I need this in my life. I'm trying to switch to hydro for a few strains in the 4x8. So far, this is the most impressive. How simple yet efficient.

are the two pot systems we did these back in the 90's but just use two pots and had the pots a bit higher than the res so they run back.

This would work ok until the roots started growing, might work for quick autoflowers if you constantly trimmed back the roots maybe.......

Imagine doing a res change with this system under a scrog.

You don't need to use airstones in all the buckets. Actually you dont need any at all. All it does is create more heat and put pathogens into your water. The movement of the water and maybe a vortex in the main controller bucket is all that is needed.

I've run dwc next to a flood table in the same room, same clones. The flood tables finish 2 weeks faster and yields more. All my dwc stuff sits in storage.

If these things cost less more people would buy them

Not bad but you should add a Waterfall system and raise your air pump above your water level incase of an outage. I Also prefer bulkheads with two rubber washers for extra security but that's because I don't rent. PA Hydroponics has the best system out currently IMO. He is very Knowledgeable and doesn't try to sell you anything if you are serious about this expensive hobby he is worth a look. You will get a better understanding of what you want vs what you need, he also has a video on most of the other hydroponic systems.

How did your business fail?

The fact it's a 4 pot RDWC that looks like it would fit in a 3x3 is pretty impressive, it's very difficult to design one that small I know because I've done it. The same experience also taught me that 4 hydroponic "medicinal" plants in a 3'x3' is an overcrowding nightmare, I switched it for 2 site tote; no leak potential, easier to clean, easier to insulate, higher capacity. This is a cool rdwc design though, I like it
