Any plans to add powertonic and fuelx??
Powertronic v4 controls fuel injection and ignition timing so I see no benefit running both and you should be able to remap the stock ecu so I will be looking in to that, I think powertronic is gimick since they don't have proper dyno max hp gain results available for their products.

Keep the tank guards in, i have seen some dented tanks without guards.
I will be swapping the tank anyways, tank guards weight too much put back on the bike
Acerbis now make a 23 litre plastic tank. Cant remeber the weight saving. Three colours but the black looks tough.
I wish they made smaller tank would suit my needs better, around 10-13l would be perfect
@@Lepadventure dude acerbis one is of plastic make and also having more capacity... which means more hollow space is inside it but with the same shape. so i think its a win win situation.

I made little mistake in my calculations I have rally engine guard installed it weights around 3kg so add that to total weight so id say 170kg with only oil and coolant. 17l of gasoline weighs 12,58kg

Hi, bike has stock gearing it works for me, top speed is 150km/h and for the speeds I drive in off road I don't have to slip the clutch at all.

Damn I bet this bike is so easy to work on. Really minimalistic wire harness nothing else much except frame, engine and radiotor... 10 minutes and you can do valve check. lol My Tenere 700 you need more time to remove all the stuff then do the whole valve check on this one... 😬😬😂😂

I've been watching himalayan 450 videos since the first review ecer made about by noraly itchy boots, i confirm this is the best video i've ever watched about himalayan 450, also nice riding skills, i'm fully now convinced abiut the himalayan 450 all i need now is its 6000$ 😅😅

what type of tyres were you using? standard himalayan or cross?
I'm currently using michelin anakee wild tires, the rear tire is exceptionally good, front is ok could have better grip in mud
you have made me decide to buy one of those. seems it is really a double porpouse bike.

Maybe like 2hp increase, could be just the weight i took off from the bike though. It needs new ecu tune to gain all that it can.
Too bad you were not able to climb that last climb . Maybe Himalayan needs to create more power or reduce some weight . Anyways, Seems like you are only one riding the Himalayan the way it’s suppose to while having so much fun. Cheers

Yes, its suprisingly capable off road, however weight to power ratio is mediocre at best, Im currently making it as light as possible

No nyt sai himppanen kovaa kyytiä 🙂 Itellä on sama vehe Hanle black väreissä. 3500Km nyt mittarissa ja mitään ongelmia ei ole ollut. Tosin en oo tommosta offia ajanut kun taidot ei riitä. Muuten tosi mukava pyörä ajaa, myös pakattuna. Itellä originaalit alumiinilaukut kiinni ja tuntuu silti vakaalta. Siistiä videomatskua tuotat, lisää vaan 💪
