Honda Valve Cover BOLT GASKETS 96-00
This is a quick “how-to” remove and install the valve cover BOLT GASKETS on a Honda D series motor. This specific model is on a 1996 to 2000 Civic EX, however, it works on many other Honda model valve covers.
There are plenty of other videos showing the valve cover gasket install, but many seem to struggle with the bolt gaskets or don’t replace them at all. This is just how I did mine, I hope it helps.

This is my initial review of the new Yokohama Geolandar A/T-XD tire! I had them installed on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Duramax diesel 4x4 and have about 1,000 miles on them at the time of filming. I will be following up with another video to see how they are holding up so stay tuned!

Cognito front differential bracket install, GM 9.25 Duramax front diff.

Quick video on how I installed the Cognito front diff bracket on my 2002 2500HD 4x4 LB7 Duramax 9.25 front diff. I’m not a certified mechanic or anything so this isn’t a strict “how to” instructional video, it’s just how I installed it on my personal truck. Feel free to comment any questions or concerns you may have. Thanks for watching!

    niiice review, I am having mine installed tomorrow. no one could beat wally world, 234 each with my total otp 1097.00 with road hazard. I have purchased many sets of tires from wally world when I worked as a contractor as I was all over US working and never had any issues.

    Great video, thanks for the information! How do you compare ride qulaity over the Toyos? I'm debating to get these or the Toyo Rt Trails. Pricing wouldnt be a issue. I'm looking for quality and performance. I'm coming from General Grabber x3 so road noise doesnt bother me. Thank you.

      Toyo makes a great tire, they are my overall #1 pick. The ride comparison from the Toyo M/T’s to these Yokohamas was actually pretty similar. The truck doesn’t ride the smoothest anyways but I did not notice much of a difference. Both sets of Toyos I’ve had (M/T and A/T2) rode great, especially for how aggressive and rugged they are. You can’t go wrong with a set of Toyos.

    Update: A little over 3 months in and there are 2 things I’ve noticed. 1. The tires have settled and worn in a little, the road noise has become more mild to moderate. They don’t howl or drone going down the highway but the road noise from the tires is noticeable. They are still at comfortable volume so it isn’t an issue. Even more so when the air and radio are on. 2. These tires seem to be a little lighter in weight than my old M/Ts, however they are likely heavier than a factory street tire so keep that in mind as tire weight can affect your fuel mileage.

    • @Rizo42
      @Rizo42 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@bobcat718 The worn out mud tires were very loud. The AT-XDs produce moderate road noise, certainly not quiet, however they are still nowhere near as loud as the M/Ts were before.

    Those look like solid tires. I just got a new set of tires, it was either the Yokohama XD or the Toyo CT. I went with the toyo just because I was getting a better deal. I had them studded too because they'll be winter dedicated but, it's definitely not something you have to worry about.

    Im in the middle of doing this after taking my lift off, but cant get the diff back in. The bushing is hard up on the center linked cant get past it, tried taking the bracket off and installing it with the diff partially installed with no luck either. Did you pull out your center link? Tried turning my wheels all different ways to try and get the center link to clear but now at a dead end.

    • @Rizo42
      @Rizo42 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      If I remember correctly, I had to rotate the diff forward, raise it into place with a floor jack, then rotate it back. I also used a rubber mallet to help line it up since the bushing fit a little snug.

      @@Rizo42 Yea that's what I been trying, yoke facing up and rotate it into place as I raise it up but cant get around the center link. I decided to pull the pitman and idler so I can squeeze it past.

    Finally someone who made a video haha. Quick question. I was told I need that bracket for my truck because rn it’s at 5 inch lift and I’m trying to bring it back down to a leveling height. So when you put the dif back in how did it ride? Thanks in advance!

    • @Rizo42
      @Rizo42 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      It works great. That is correct, this bracket is for factory height/leveled suspension. Most lifts require a different bracket that relocates the ear to a more forward position.

    • @maxwellfischer5094
      @maxwellfischer5094 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Rizo42 Is it only for stock/level suspension height? Your truck looks lifted in the video. My 08 has a 6" lift currently but front suspension angles aren't great. Would this help at all?

    • @Rizo42
      @Rizo42 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@maxwellfischer5094 That is correct. This specific bracket is for stock height. The bracket for a lifted truck is slightly different, however the installation is very similar. These brackets are for mounting the front differential to the frame so this wouldn’t have an effect on the angles of the CV shafts, control arms, etc.
