You crimped the wire wrong. The seam goes on the concave. the crimper side forces the gap closed from behind. The other way actually widens the gap and makes a much weaker bond.

I like the Vampliers pliers but this is one Vampliers tool I regret buying. It cuts well enough, but the handles are almost as uncomfortable as it would be possible to make them, and it's very difficult to get much leverage either using the usual inside grip or an outside grip.

The screws being extracted from the work piece are not stripped as the title of the video implies. Stripped screws cannot be unscrewed because their screw threads are damaged. This stool is designed to unscrew a fastener whose drive mechaninism is damaged, as when a Phillips screwdriver cams out the head of the screw.

Seems almost useless compared to regular pliers that come in this shape if you attach an ESD strap. This doesn't address screws recessed into a surface either, which is in my experience, far more of a problem.

I have the linesman pair, works great for screws coated & clogged with heavy paint too.

I highly suggest buying the Engineer brand of this type of pliers. Engineer makes the pliers for Vampire and Vampire rebrands them. Engineer ones are a lot less expensive though. Vampire touts their "lifetime warranty" but I am here to tell you their warranty sucks and they will not honor it.

I strongly suggest researching these tools. They are made by Engineer (a high quality tool manufacturer from Japan) and are rebranded as Vampire. The Vampire are much more expensive and Vampire touts their "lifetime warranty". Except when you break one of their tools, it turns out they really have no warranty at all. So just buy the Engineer brand and save your money since Engineer is the exact same tool.
