Hello ^^ Plave is virtual idol group formed by vlast. First, plave named by "play" + "reve" (dream in french) meaning they built new world to achieve their dream. Plave members produced their songs and dance by themselves. Plave become famous because of their funny glitchs but their biggest charm is their vocals. They do cover songs alot too. It’s okay to not know about Park Boyoung she’s mostly known in Asian but still has international fans like myself. I am a huge fan of her and watched about 90% of all her work. She’s known in Korea for her looks and being Koreans “ideal type”. I was so surprised to see beomgyu since he has expressed being her fan before and didn’t think he was would come out of nowhere! I’m so jealous of him for meeting boyoung but happy as a moa (more jealous since I’ve been a fan of boyoung before txt’s debut/j). Park boyoung is currently busy these days with currently promoting her Disney+ show 'Light Shop' releasing. Filming for a upcoming drama called 'Unknown Seoul', which will also star Got7 Jinyoung who just got released from the military. And finished filming her drama with Choi Woo Shik called 'Melo's movies', which Taehyun mentioned. I am very excited as a fan! 🧏‍♀️

As elvsiz said, PLAVE are a vtuber-style idol group. They are real people using illustrated avatars with motion capture, so the avatar shows the exact same facial expressions and body movements as the actual person. Vtubers are a whole sub-category of streamers but, to my knowledge, PLAVE is the first time that a proper idol group was formed from people using vtuber avatars. They perform at music shows and concerts and such and have choreography and music videos etc, like a real idol group, but they don't go in person to performances, they perform in a motion capture studio and the live performance is streamed to a giant screen where they are performing (I'm presuming, based on how vtuber concerts usually go, I don't actually follow PLAVE). Why use an avatar/model instead of just showing your real face? Privacy is a typical reason people become vtubers and not regular face-cam streamers but also in terms of idols, the appearance of the person behind the avatar becomes irrelevant, just their singing and dancing ability and their personality matter so people who couldn't typically become idols because they don't fit Korean beauty standards can become a virtual idol since their real face would never be shown. Sorry for the info dump, I had a whole vtuber phase. Also, I don't care about baseball but Woonhak is so cute that I loved this episode <3

i dont keep up with them but plave is a virtual boy group? its real people and i think they use some sort of motion capture technology or something like that to track their movements. im not entirely sure but they have some really good songs 😭 woonhak is such a cutie tho, ive loved his relationship with yeonjun since they were mcs together but he was so cute with soobin too 😭 i think hes just a bundle of joy hahahaha, i completely get soobin cause i was saying ‘cuteee’ about him every 5 mins !
