My son is 25 and has Aspergers. We had to leave his Dad when he was 4. This is his all time favourite film, for obvious reasons and he also loves the Goo Goo Dolls song. We have many lovely memories watching the DVD. He hopes it will be a world in the new Kingdom Hearts game (4). I hope so too. UTTERLY underrated Disney film... and you would have thought they could do with some non pc/based help right now!! (Nov 2023). ❤

Because you made the right choices. Zarah’s almost driving now. And moriah might seem like she hates you. But she loves you. The sacrifice you make for those kids is worth it.

This movie and spirit : stallion of the cimarron (2002 not the my little pony rip off) are absolute masterpieces from story to the soundtrack pure gold

My favorite movie of all time.

This film should get an award. It was the one and only film that truly captivated me as a kid watching it in the cinema. It was truly born for the cinema. I relate to it as well, cried when I rediscovered it.

Godamn this is the story of my life… being a trouble maker due to the absence of love or a father figure. Having a single mom who couldn’t handle my “behavior”. Then meeting a “mentor “ who turned out to be a complete lie.. this movie has a special place in my heart. Always.

I remember watching this when i was a kid. i think i was around like 6 or 7. When i saw the flash back scene, and seing Jim running after his dad as he was leaving made me cry. I'm not sure i fully understood what it really meant at the time, but now as a young adult in her 2Os, and as someone who's dad left the house a few years ago, it hits much closer to home and made me cry a lot more.

Jims mom always reminds me of my mom. Strong, independent. My dad was worthless, but my mom busted her ass every single day. This movie sticks with me because I feel like Jim alot of the time. I'm just waiting to find my map and a way off this rock too.

THE MOST underrated Disney film of all time imo. Can’t change my mind. In 2050 I’ll still recommend this.
