Hi! overall it's a good all inclusive resort. The beach is beautiful, the room is ok, pools are good, services is a bit slow, especially at the buffet. Foods, as you might know Cuban foods are not the best compare to most of the Caribbean countries in the area, but it's acceptable for Cuba resorts in general. I would say Cuba beaches are one of the most beautiful in the Caribbean and this resort is one of them. Would we come back again, yes, definitely for the beach and the pools...just pack some snacks to bring along when go to Cuba. Thanks for watching!

@@RN-bl1ol 2 restaurants, 1 time each. That's more than enough for us, we preferred to eat at the Buffet more, more selections, more varieties, more choices, and don't have to commit to the booking time...Sport Bar, Snack Bar, Pizza and Ice-cream shops you can go many times as you wish.

Yes, it is a loud resort for people who wants to have fun. If you like a little more quiet go Senator Puerto Plata Spa Resort, which is right beside. Thanks for watching! =)

Hi! We never been to Iberostar so we can't comment on that. We found that Melia las dunas was more quiet and relaxing type of resort. Playa Cayo Santa Maria was busier, more people. Just depends on what type of a person you are, if you like quiet then Melia Las Dunas is for you. If you want a little more noise then Playa Cayo Santa Maria. Hope that help and thanks for watching!

Hi! On the Sanctuary side of the beach, which is at the end, the beach is nice, clean with powdery sandy. Every where else the sand is soft then comes close to the water it's more rocks & shells, then into the water the sand is nice, soft and shallow. So, we would definitely recommend you to bring water shoes especially young kids. People does snorkeling right there at the beach. It was a little windy at the time we were there which was in April. It's an all inclusive resort "Playa Cayo Santa Maria, Cuba".

Hi! Cuba is known for nice beach, good services, nice people and it's a safe country to travel to, but they're not popular with their foods. If you're not too picky then you should be able to find something that you're like to eat. Yes, the resort is very nice and clean, well maintained. All the pools and the beach are clean and lovely. The services was a little slow sometimes at the buffet (it was busy the week we went), but overall it was good. There are a few small things that disappointed me, like the cleanliness of the dishes and the flies at the beach buffet, and the long lineup at the grill sections. Other than that the resort was good. We had a good time, and we would recommended this resort. Make sure you watch all the Playa Cayo Santa Maria videos and read all the reviews in the description box too. More videos are coming up. Hi! thankyou for watching. To answer your questions, first about the bugs, we get no bite at all not even mosquitoes nor seeing many around. We went in April so not sure the time of the year makes any difference about that. The room you have to check with your travel agent or check with the resort, and or request it when you're booking. I don't drink Whiskey so I didn't pay any attention about that, sorry, but you can also check with the agent to see if they have any answer for that, they might not have when we were there but might do now. Coke we don't get it all the time, some days they have some days they don't and sometime depends on which bar you're at too. Diet Cola I have no idea whether they'd have or not, I doubt it. I would say pack some with you, we did pack some Cokes with us. This resort either you really like it or you don't, every body experienced differently, for us we did have a good relaxing week. Hi! Sanctuary at Grand Memories Holguin is an all-inclusive, adults-only (18+). It is in the same resort, located on one side/area of the resort, the family area is on the other side. Hi! The resort is new but not brand new, it used to be "Tesoro del Atlantico". It is the only one in the area right now, they're still building more resorts around. It's almost 2 hours bus ride from the airport, so be prepare for that. The beach is pretty long along the resort, it's close to all the buildings so no need to take the golf cart, but they do have golf cart service if you need it. Yes, they do have elevators (if you have trouble climbing the stairs then request ahead with them for the ground floor room). For tips I brought a lot of $1 US bills, just give what you can and or how you feel about the service provided. I'm not sure about the gifts of what they're really short, but I bought a lot of small stuffs from dollar store and put it in the loop bags. I'm pretty sure you going to have a good relaxing time. Good for you, you deserve it. I just found out from someone that you don't have to exchange to US dollars, just bring Canadian money and exchange it there whether at the airport or at the resort to their currency which is Cuban Peso. Every $1 Canadian is equal to approximately $18 Cuban Peso (as of today from google currency converter), so that way we all don't have to exchange back and forth. Hi! We was there at the beginning of April. The food was ok overall (not much selections but you can always find something good to eat) however it was good at the grill section in the buffet, just have to be patience for the line up. There's something at the theatre every night. Not much of a night life resort, more of a relaxing quiet resort. Overall we had a good relaxing week. Wish you a good trip!

Hi! The Wi-Fi is very good everywhere on the resort, except at the beach. It works well in our room, which is the building closest to the beach. The only thing I don't like is you have to sign in very often if the phone is inactive for like every 5 or 10 mins. They will give you 20 hrs at first, if you use it up then just go to the reception and ask for more hours. Have fun and enjoy your vacation!
