1 Year Progress of my Open World game in 8 Minutes
มุมมอง 27Kหลายเดือนก่อน
My very first video showcasing our progress with Godot during the first year of development. It took a while to make, so let me know if I should keep making more =D Steam and Discord links in the comments. (apparently youtube doesn't allow us to add links in the description, and pin comments =D)
Generated Terrain and Weather System in Godot | Paw Rescuers
มุมมอง 1.1K3 หลายเดือนก่อน
First look to our realtime generated terrain and weather system in Godot. We are a team of two, working on Paw Rescuers, join our discord if you want to be part of the development. Link in the comments.
Godo is indeed very fast, however what potato are you using that Unity lag? Works well even on my old macbook. For me Godo: if you plan to code everything yourself. Unity: if you dont have time and need to prototype fast.
Noooooooooo hamster come on don't
Wow this game looks incredibly pretty 🤩 definitely wishlisted
I'm started with Godot about 2 weeks ago I think and this terrain is exactly what I want to my hobby game. I have managed to render a 256x256 grid of MeshInstance3D nodes but it's lagging when I run it with the @tool decorator and it appears on the editor. Someday in the future I will get to where your game is at right now!

Good luck to you, I have added it to my wish list. I have just one question: If Person A uses the game they download from the Apple Store, and Person B uses the game they downloaded from Google Play, will there be any cross compatibility with the multiplayer?
Thank you! Yes they will be able to play together on different platforms, including mobile with steam
Really cool project!
Not my type of game, but looks awesome! Congrats on this level of persistence. Godot is my favorite game engine to use as well.
