Funny I stayed in a room here at the Presidential Inn a year or two ago and some weird stuff happened. My friend and I actually looked it up when we left and only then did we learn the stories.

What area of the cemetery is this located?

Not dead yet. Opened in 1939. Relocated to Aquaboggans parking lot after closure and reopened the following summer. I work there.

This is where I grew up ! This cemetery has over 600 American revolution soldiers are buried, and general George glover who rowed Washington across the Delaware is buried, and one of the people from the salem witch triels is there as well ! And scenes from the "good son were filmed there ! 😊

I only just watched that film (again) yesterday. It’s one of my favourites and is absolutely crying out for a big budget remake.

I need to get back up there to see it again. Born and raised here (40yrs old) I use to go see it as a kid every summer before going to the Bangor fair. I can remember getting picked up an put on the base by his feet and getting pictures taken. Thanks for sharing, it refreshes the memories. Cheers

The town bought the land to build a highschool. The towns people voted yes to buying the land and no to building the school. This road was planned to be the access in and out of the highschool we never built

Thanks for filming this! I've been researching on Google filming locations with little success minus this video. This movie brings back so much nostalgia and its like opening a portal to your childhood memories. I remember being scared of this film as a kid but just watched it and find how hilarious that memory of being scared is. This was awesome!

I’m definitely haunted by the Portside diner. I lived behind the diner in 1979 with my father and our white German shepherd, Lady and our cat Youme. He was an unemployed sheet metal mechanic washing dishes there part time and the lady who owned the diner was a good friend to us. Her name was Pope and she had a son George and a daughter Dora. Wonderful people.

As long as you stay away from the homeless ppl that are under the influence you are fine. When I was a younger highschoolers would climb to the top of the mills to watch the fireworks on the 4th. And the stoners would make their rap videos in that little tunnel with graffiti you were standing in. I explored here with my mom shen she was taking photos of abandoned places for her photography class. I lowkey wish I had lived in Sanford when I was a teen so I could've explored these places more when i was young and it was the thing to do. I went to Sanford High School but lived in Acton which has no cool places to explore besides the wilderness, but that's a whole different vibe. If I were caught walking around the mills now ppl would think I'm doing drugs 😂

I was born in Tarrytown home of Sleepy Hollow and the Headless. I grew up in Ossining,NY and did a project and costume of the Leatherman in grade school.

I will never stop loving this.. the film has such a special film to me. I hope they NEVER remake it like they did the Elm St films, they were crap remakes, and the actors in The Langoliers are amazing. I remember falling in love with David Morse.. love it. Its been uploaded again on here crystal clear etc. take note : when they are about to land in LA there is traffic moving round ! theres a white van in the left of the screen in front of a big building and a car !! also the landing gear goes up as the planes just manages to take off when the Langoliers are after the plane but when you see the shot of it from behind the landing gears still down !! love it though.. always will.

My town. You are allowed to walk all around outside, it is illegal to be inside. They refurbished half the shoe factory and the other half burnt to hell by some kids. Homeless people live there like crazy. My grandparents worked there for most their life. I went one time when I was little. There are purposed holes in the middle of most the floors, at the time no railings. It was to move loads from one floor to another my pepere said. Asked him if anyone fell, I was 5. He said yes often lol, crazy. I went to one building hen I was about 20 something with my now husband, cops were called, we ran, didn’t get caught. I was a goodie two shoes and wanted to try something fun in an abandoned building…. Exploring😅
