is it too late to buy from first issue ? because online it says to start at 15

this thing doesnt work more oftne then it does. i thought i wa ssetting it up incorrectly but it turns out that sometimes, it just...doesnt show in OBS, or shows at a terrible resolution: too small to even see. when it works, it works and 'looks' FINE, but it works so rarely that its hardly woth the constant computer restarts and seemingly random bouts of not displaying/being recognized by pc and OBS/'malfunctioning' in windows. my troubleshooting leaves a little to be desired. MAYBE Ive got some strange software clashing going on somewhere. I dont know. All i know is this thing has convinced me to bite the bullet and buy something better. never thought IDE see the day, of all people.

Cheers for the video, me and my wife tried to play through mission 3 last night (very late) and couldn't work out if ALL the infestation sites got a shot against the marine or only the sites adjacent - cheers for clearing that up!

As someone who's not played any sort of 40k since 1992, this format of softly softly, one small lesson at a time, really appeals, rather than jumping back deep end straight off 👍

This looks so cool

Doomstalker explodes putting mortals on nearby units... The blood crushers are all separate units? I thought they were a single unit and all the mortals would be put on a single model until dead and then wounds would spill over to another model. In other words, only 1 model in a unit can be wounded at a time. Unless of course you're attacking a unit with a character and some models can only attack the unit while models with Precision can target the character so both a Character and it's unit can be wounded at the same time.

11:57 can frag launcher shoot at those plague marines when they are in engagement range? Isnt this a blast weapon?

i feel like attaching the archon to the kabalites is a waste, it'd be better to just throw him onto the board and let him chase stuff on his own with that 2+ shadowfield save and a 5+ feel no pain hes a slippery guy even amongst alot of foes

Slight mistake at 12:30 - plague marines hit first because redemptor didn't charge and is already in engagement range. Would it have mattered? Probably not in this case.

How dit you select the spacemarine units for the Combat Patrol? A Librarian instead of the Impulsor ?

Is it just me, or are the new 10th Combat Patrol's a lot weaker than 9th edition Combat Patrols?

Suppressors should have used smoke and not be that exposed... The shooting in round 2: Was the ravager within 12" of the infiltrators with the libarian? Only then they could be shot.

Did you not select oath of moment on the incubi?

I felt like the marines never got a chance to show off all their movement shenanigans. Think this new team is going to be really powerful in the hands of a skilled player.

A "single Incubi" is an Incubus.

Nice video. Pretty sure tho you can only add one character to the terminators and the scarabs have oc 0 so don't think they can take objectives

Played a slightly larger version of this scenario and had a blast. Scourge threw in the towel when their second strike carrier was destroyed. It had one point of damage already, took a second point, rolled for crippling damage and took 2 more damage! Oops.

So happy to see someone covering DFC. Getting back into the game myself trying to find some games in South Wales!
