🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉thanks
Great effort
How much degree for the V bend ? And if we use it how we can correct the inclination of incisors?
20 degrees is enough in most situations.
❤❤❤❤
hi doc. the download link not working any more and i couldn't find it in your Blog. can you refresh the link please. thank you.
Thank you sir. Your video helps orthodontics practice.
Thanks!
Great job!! You achieved a beautiful result👍 thank you for sharing
Thank you very much, Taiana!
After invisalign i got vivera clear retainers and now 8 years later my teeth havent shifted (so from that side: perfect job), however I am pretty sure my bite used to be better. I am therefore seeing a new orthodontist soon that also focuses on the whole body because another thing i noticed i that since the treatment ending ive had chronic pain in legs, feet, neck and head. So my advice: talk to your doctor that hawley may be preferred to you bec of bite issues coming from the clear retainers (no proper setting) and also dont forget about the rest of the body. i feel like too many orthodontists only focus on getting a straight smile, whilst there are forces applied to the body that may end up messing stuff up. So now i am 25, have a beautiful smile but a weird bite and pain everywhere that doesnt shon on an mri. Oddly my orthodontist wouldnt give me a hawley because she said it acts only like a motorway barrier and isnt any good... well, the clear ones are worse i believe. plus she makes me pay 450 euros every 4 years to get a new set of the vivera when hawley can last much longer.
Why didnt the ortho tell me they were taking cbct of my 9 year old child? They mentioned pano but never cbct untill i saw the images i realized?😡
Great insights ❤ looking forward to many such videos
Outstanding 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Thanks, Ivan!
Excellent alternative for surgical cl2’s. Bravo
Thanks, Emmanuel!
We have to wear retainer for life time 😭
well done Dr ❤ Greed to see more cases Thx for the share
Thanks, I'm going to share more cases soon, stay tuned!
Do not let anyone extract your child's teeth
Well, extraction decision should be taken by an orthodontist.
@orthodonticgrammar5746 no no one should get extractions. Extractions ruin your jaw and face including my own. A lifetime of airway issues and jaw pain the orthodontist ruined my life and face. This barbaric practice needs to stop. Please get educated. I am in a page with thousands of victims from extract retract braces.
The panoramic is not normal, lower 1st molar is compromised treated,,,
Doc, in 3 :25 frame, I saw you place two blue bite turbos on LL7 and LR7. Does it meant just to disoccusion? Or any specific purpose ? Thank you
My daughter is under treatment with a expander to help her with a class lll malocclusion, is having an amazing change, she realized she is breathing a lot better, remember airway was not the problem. I thank God for the wonderful and amazing dentist we are currently working with. Of course expansion is not for every single one but we need to teach our kids the importance of adopt right overall posture, tongue posture, how to breathe correctly etc, etc ..
We have very weak scientific evidence that expansion could enhance breathing. However, we know very well that more that 50% of expansion gained in mixed dentition will be lost later. Cl III malocclusions in children are divided in pseudo-Cl III cases and true prognathism cases. The treatment for the latter group does not guarantee a predictable result due to genetic predisposition. However, if one is to attempt treating a true prognathism Cl III early, anterior-posterior correction should be implemented. Together with expansion or sometimes without expansion.
Amazing she will definitely breath better and have a better looking face with an expander. Amazing wish I had had that as a child instead I got extractions and retract braces. After that I could never breath the same again and I started getting neck and jaw pain the feeling was evident and the way my face negatively changed after extractions and braces was sad indeed.
@@Sam77e I am very sorry to hear that. Have you been treated by an actual orthodontist?
@orthodonticgrammar5746 yes I sure was at 14 years old. After that my life changed for the worse. I am trying to fix it, but damage is done. It''s been years. It's likely jaw surgery last option. All I can do is raise awareness that we need to grow Jaws not pull teeth to make them straight.
@@Sam77e I haven't seen your diagnostic records, so I can't comment on your case. But certainly people have to understand that there are limits to which jaws can be "grown". And that it is absolutely normal to remove teeth during the orthodontic treatment. If done by a properly trained clinician, there is no harm in it.
Do you recommend a good book or video for cephalometry?
🤣 'Promo SM'
We can't download the card?? I need it please 🌷
I'm reading the old school "Six Keys of Normal Occlusion" right now. How does this relate to Andrews' second key where it specifically says that normal occlusion should be based on the *crown* angulation?
How can l get this book ?
thank you so much Dr. Please, if you have an account on Instagram to communicate with you about a problem faced me with a case. 🙏🌹
Can you please describe more about v-bend . or any litrature about it. Is it same as Mulligan V bends
Could you make a video explaining why sometimes there are a small gap between upper lateral and canine during space closure that really difficult to close?
MBT....just read the MBT book. They don't have the Roth book. Silly
Roth has co-authored many books. I have some of them on my shelf.
More reports pls.
Thanks for your interest! Will be done.

I am bangladeshi orthodontist how to purchase this mbt book would you pls let me know
Very nice book
Thank you!
Did you think about extracting the LL6 and LR5 as they have worse prognosis than the 4s?
Could be an option, but I was not certain about the anatomy of the LL wisdom tooth. A senior colleague once told me that we - as orthodontists - should not take responsibilities for all dental problems the patient has.
This was great! Very simple and eloquent. May i recommend having someone join you for sake of discussion on a case? (Diagnosis, mechanotherapy, et cetera.?
Nice to hear from you, Jean-Marc! Thanks! Should we record a case discussion together one day?
@@orthodonticgrammar5746 more than happy to, let's talk about that on Facebook!
What a remarkable orthodontic masterclass for all of us!👏
Thank you, Lorenzo!!
Well done Many thanks Dr 💐
Thank you!
Can we have both permanent and removable retainers at same time?
Sure! This is what I - and I believe many orthodontists - do on a regular basis!
Can indian dentist do orthodontic Fr om Russia AFTER BDS from indian
It's likely so. Dental regulations are very chaotic in the former Soviet Union.
Can the retainer close the small gaps after braces? Can the retainer have tongue crib attached for thrusting problem? Can the retainer have both the above qualities simultaneously??
Hey! 1. A wrap-around Hawley retainer can easily do that. 2. I won't use a crib on a retainer since it would be too bulky, however some little spikes could do. 3. Certainly!
@@orthodonticgrammar5746 Thanks from INDIA. For the tongue thrust issue, which one gives better results? The tongue crib or the exercises ?
@@gamingandmusic9217 I have no belief in exercises.
Hello, is there online programs to become an orthodontist if I'm a general dentist ?
