How to Use Pass, a Linux System Command-Line Open-Source Password Manager with Simplicity in Mind
I introduced you to pass, an open source password manager that encrypts your credentials using the reliable and dependable GNU Privacy Guard (GPG) tool.
Basic password management is possible with the basic pass program, and other open-source extensions can expand its features. Since pass data-stores are just collections of GPG-encrypted files, you can simply synchronize your credentials between devices by using Git, a technology that Sysadmins are already familiar with. This gives you the option to choose where your login credentials are kept, on your own virtual private server or in a private Git repository hosted by a version control hosting company.
You can take complete control of your password management using pass, all without compromising simplicity or functionality.

How to solve the problem "The server is not configured properly to be an active member of the group" First of all, thank you very much for this video. I found it very useful. If the UUID is the same, it doesn't work. To change the UUID on nodes 2 and 3 Simply remove sudo rm /var/lib/mysql/auto.cnf Restart the mysql service and a new UUID is automatically generated
Thank you for your kind words and for sharing this helpful tip!

I did all of them in order, logged in to the interface, and when I entered the target host in Task Wizard, it gives the error "Failed to find port_list '33d0cd82-57c6-11e1-8ed1-406186ea4fc5'". What is the problem and how can I fix it?

don't do a sudo su - , use sudo -s instead. If you were to work with applications which require a graphical (like some apects of SAP for exampl) you will run into issues with your environment variables that su - will cobble). The better way is sudo -s or sudo -i -u <user you wish to impersonate> if you need that users actual default env variables. Also, Linux is not Windows; it was built to stay up and running; so, a reboot is not necessary, unless, as you pointed out, there is a new kernel and you need to use that kernel. If you install a new kernel and you don't reboot, it's not a problem. Linux is not Windows; so the bad habits, the fears, insecurities and doubts that windows builds into the minds of its users are not, necessarily, present. Always use a password with your SSH keys; if you want simulate passwordless entry, use ssh-agent and put in your bashrc and then you will only enter your SSH password once via ssh-add and then it will be available during the sessions. If your key is taken, the individual still needs to know the password in order to do anything with it. You will find a bunch of examples on the web of this kind of setup. And it's not Linux 9, but your Distribution and whatever number their release version. Nice video.
Excellent
thank for this video so can you do a tutorial for tuning mysql to support 10000 users RAM 64GB CPU 12 storage 500GB

Glad it helped!
Is the replication still happens if we restart the sql services after shut down both the isntance ?
yes
Great tutorial. I did it. Thank you so much. However, in my case, there were a few differences. I made the following adjustments: 1. I'm using Red Hat 8, so I had to disable SELinux; 2. I installed MySQL on one machine and cloned it to the second and third machines. Therefore, I had to delete the auto.cnf file located at /var/lib/mysql/ and restart the MySQL service (systemctl restart mysqld.service). => In both cases, errors occurred when running the command: START GROUP_REPLICATION;
I don´t understand why not on faster Debian, why on Ubuntu...
more people are using Ubuntu based on my experience
Can you give tutorial for the name

Sir how to do NIS so that any user can login from different terminal
thanks for your input, was easy to follow. Only thing to add, if a node is rebooted or mysql is restarted it doesn't auto join unless you add group_replication_start_on_boot = ON
Hello, I was looking at your video channel. We may be helping a company that uses secure images to increase supply chain security and help cloud native development. Would you be willing to help try their software, make a video, and help show devs how to use their tools? This is not an offer, but just to start a conversation about your willingness to take on sponsorship. Please provide me with your email if you are interested. You'd have a chance to look at their technology and decide if it's the type of software that you'd be interested in covering in your channel.
