That gopro was the 9 i think but the lens broke that’s why it’s messed up and it’s mounted on the front ferring of the kart using the sticky mounts which was a gamble bc they don’t normally work on karts

Lol i hope that was a joke bc the reason it’s faster in the straightaway because i used a lower gear than everyone else which means if I drove better than them in the corners I’d fly by on the straight 👍

On the start it doesn’t matter where u go inside or outside but yes 2 is correct i think the nerves got to me i was extremely afraid of wrecking bc this race meant so much but if u look at other videos that never happens

I know you usually are aggressive, but those were just some suggestions

Also if you don’t commit to the overtake it’s more likely you will crash(I have learned from experience)

@@jacksondubbs2862 yea but this is supernats and people will literally put you and themselves in the wall if they see u going to pass. Not my best race i’d say heat 3 was one of my best drives of the year.

One last thing in such huge races like this qualifying is a key set up to the weekend so if you were top ten in quali then u could have maybe gotten top 5 or a win

I was never on mpg only sponsored by will power but things didn’t work out due to the kart not being practical for me and not suiting my driving style

It was a borrowed engine so the engine was terrible i was on the same gear as everyone else

@@daltonhaneskarting i could see, you were glued to the bumper everywhere except out of the lefthander hairpin and the straight, those two places it looked like they had an x30 and you had a ka.

I know ur probably about to be a junior in highschool, but one thing i realized is nowadays it doesnt matter how much skill you have, if you dont have the money with it you cant do much, so thats why im really focusing on a degree now for racing, wbu?

@@motorsportministries7843 i plan to do well at supernats in vegas in about a week then move to Europe next year to race the European karting championship so i can do all i can to get a ride with a formula 4 or 3 team.

I was on a much lower gear so i had to drive better than him through the corners and in the straight I would be much faster

@@daltonhaneskarting ok cool. I’ve been wanting to get into karting. I’ve been riding motocross for years and the old body just can’t take it anymore lol. Not many options here, some dirt classes, but as far as road courses I will have to drive to New Orleans or to Mobile Alabama for racing.great driving man, just earned another sub 👍.
