Lexis fish 29 Aug 2024

A bit less comprehensive a video perhaps as I was otherwise distracted, but, a defining moment as we capture Lexi (Our granddaughter aged 11) catching her very first fish! A very nice little Black Bream. She did it all herself, well done Lexi!!

Needles Run Kates Birthday 30 Jul 24
มุมมอง 2.3K5 หลายเดือนก่อน
What a truly great day out this was. Celebrating our dear friends birthday (Kate). We ran from Warsash to Yarmouth, then on to The Needles, coming back round into Alum Bay for a swim before heading across The Solent passing Hurst Castle and heading back to Warsash. Finishing the day with a BBQ and birthday cake. Simply excellent and the sort of day that makes it all worthwhile.

Stingray 26 June 2024

25 June 2024. A trip with our Arrowflash "Stingray" along with our good friends Nick and Kate and their Arrowflash "Wild Swan". A beautiful day which once again saw us head down to Newtown Creek for a picnic and (in my case) a swim. Only one seal put in an appearance today which I failed to catch on camera. Nonetheless a lovely day. Video shows recovery at high water in Warsash and how we tend ...

Our 1st launch of 2024, very late this year but the weather has been pretty awful. Video shows launching at Warsash at a high state of tide and recovering at Warsash at low tide. it also shows our trip to Beaulieu River.
Snorkelling El Cotillo March 2024
มุมมอง 859 หลายเดือนก่อน
Snorkeling at El Cotillo in March 2024. Out in the lagoons near the lighthouse. No wetsuits. A bit chilly to get in because the sun was pretty hot, but once in you could stay for 40 mins to an hour without getting cold.

Por favor me puedes decir de que material son ?son de plastico? Poliuretano? Muchas gracias
great photos and lovely to see the powerboats out in the solent. We see them when we are out fishing
Nice Boats 👌 but why they jumping up and down?
Lovely to see kids so enthusiastic. I forgot how nice that is 😂
Hadir mantap spot nya luar biasa bos ku 👍👍 sukses selalu bos ku seaht selalu 👍👍❤️
We’re is this ?
Most of my boating videos are taken in and around The Solent on the South Coast of England (Hampshire UK). The fishing here was just to the south of Calshot :)
Που μπορω να βρω αυτο το ανταλακτικο ??
What a lovely video and weather thanks
I feel the need for speed 😅
Great video nice channel quite similar to mine good luck 👍
Is it fresh water or salt water at the boat slipway?
A nice calm sea for a day out 👍👍
Nice video. Unfortunately for me, Warsash became unviable to launch from when they put the height barrier over the car park entrance 😢
Thanks for your video. Im in doubt if it is easy to find snorkeling spots with so windy weather forecast....looks like strong N winds all week. Any advice?
The colour of that water down south is so blue, it’s murky and dark off the east coast at Lowestoft
This is where I take my boat most of the time as it’s on my door step oulton broad up to beccles or geldeston locks
Awesome 🙌not took mine out on the sea yet only river’s and lakes
Hello guy this video has been brilliant!!! i am new to boating and also have a fletcher. great to watch
Guy, I really appreciate the time, patience and effort that you put into this video, especially as you said, doing it first time around, and difficult with one hand of course. We learned heaps from you. In the script, the piston squeeze tool is stated as a Laser 5751. - Where did you acquire it please, and does it need to specifically be 5751. Thank you. Much love from Scotland, ❤ X
Some pretty psychedelic and weird edits
The tool to get the brake cylinder back in has to be screwed back in with the turn handle not with the pressure nut or you could fowl the calliper.
A cracking vlog Guy. Great memories for you all. I was there again in (Corralejo) 13/01 to 20/01. Love the town and its vibe as no doubt you did too. I enjoy the live music at Sunset Lounge and Rock Island bar along with Music Square every evening. Was also great to see El Cotillo another favourite of mine. Smaller town with amazing beaches and surf areas but enchanting all the same. Had a great seafood lunch at Blue Cow restaurant too. Thanks again happy to subscribe and look forward to your future adventures to share.
😍👍
All the places we love in Fuerteventura! Lovely memories.❤
lovely video...
Looks like you all had a great time 😊
Brilliant!
when you have put it in maintenance mode, do you have to leave the ignition on, or can you turn it off while you do the brakes? I have seen info suggesting that you must leave it on, but as the procedure might take a couple of days I'm not so sure.
Thanks for that, I was having trouble with getting the service mode for the EPB. Strange that the outer pad on the RH side of the car was the most worn: mine was exactly the same with plenty of meat on the other 3 pads.
Thank you, hope you all had a very good time.
Great video, very helpful. Do you have a link to the engine mount you fitted please? And will they fit a 1993 90hp 2 stroke?
Where is good for a bite to eat in Cowes ?
Calm seas, a great day for a blast! Suggest you trim the engine down a tad, very slightly less speed - but your ride will be smoother
Hi, would a jigsaw work?
What made you determine that was the issue?? I have a 150 Mercury that’s starting to drive sloppy when trimmed up. I think this may have relation to it. Slack in the Bushings
Hi there Just a question did you find bolts through hardware store or did you have to source from mercury? Many thanks .great vids
Hi Dean, I sourced the bolts online from an engineering supplies company. Marine grade SS.
Use oxy mate
H, really interested in new bushes, where can I get the machined ones?

Hi Alondra, usually warm in the day and chilly in the evening but I should check the local forecasts:)

Man same i go in January !
Hey Guy, are they 1W or 3W chips
Hi Wayne, the honest answer is I can't remember I'm afraid! I replaced like with like.
Really enjoy watching your videos. I bought an Invader 165 just over a year ago which has turned out to need a lot more work than was first anticipated. Hoping to get her ship shape for the start of next season. Certainly finding out what boat stands for lol but I’m sure the good times will outweigh the bad. 🚤💨😎
Hi, thank you, I haven't had a lot of opportunity to add much to the collection this year but hope to get back to it in the new season. I've saved a couple of boats through the year and, its always been worth it! Good like with yours, I look forward to seeing a vid of her running!
Well done sir
Hello Guy your site is so valuable to us. We are just about to attempt to do the lower engine mounts to renew. We have watched your video, which is just the job. I noticed on the port side pic of the engine a cable going around the bolt. Am I right in saying thats a grounding cable. ? Where does the other end go, thank you. All the best... Jack
Hi Jack, yes, the cable you refer to is a grounding cable to prevent corrosion. Basically any part insulated from the main frame earth of the engine needs to be electrically connected together which allows the sacrificial anode to do its job. One end of the cable goes on the mounting bolt, the other end to one of the small bolts that hold the alloy mounting cover plate in place. Thank you for your kind words, I’m just an amateur having a go and sharing in the hope it helps someone avoid the pitfalls I lumber into. All the best and good luck, Guy 🙂
