I'm SO glad that I watched this season's recap, because I honestly don't think that I would have been able to sit through the entirety of episodes for this particular season. We went from the Lizard people and their war to a totally different kingdom and their politics. There was SO much going on that it made my head spin. 😵‍💫 I couldn't tell what the plan was or who the "good" guys were. Plus, the bearded, gray-haired butler sneaking around hiding the blonde woman from Ainz was majorly sus. I hope he doesn't end up betraying Ainz. ☹️

A few days ago, I came across a cover of the theme song for season 1 of _Overlord,_ "Claytonia"; (the version I heard was an English cover by Leeandlie ft Jonathan Young.) Well, I was completely _blown away_ by the composition of the song and couldn't stop replaying it. I've seen images of this anime here and there over the years but was never really interested because....well, it looked like a creepy skull man. 😓 But after hearing that kick@$$ theme song, however, I became curious. This is the first result that popped up in TH-cam when I typed in "Overlord recap". I am impressed that you managed to condense an ENTIRE SEASON into 13 minutes....that's an achievement! And not only that, but you hit all the important parts and explained things so well! I don't have a lot of free time (I had a baby recently and the husband and I are ALWAYS exhausted. Plus I work long hours in a medical facility and any off-time I have is usually spent sleeping, spending time with the fam, or catching up on chores) so I especially love that you explained everything in such a short amount of time! I never would have guessed that Skeleton Man was a guy from the "real world" who was essentially trapped within a game. Normally I'm not really into those types of stories but I am really liking this one so far. Thank you again! ❤️

I had some acquaintances who loved this series and insisted I watch it. While it had some beautiful animation and was very gory, I couldn't really relate to any of the characters and had trouble following the plot and understanding the motivations of the characters. I just couldn't get into it and I don't understand what caused some people to become such big fans of Elfen Lied. Is it just because of the juxtaposition of cute girls w/ violence and gore?

i feel so bad for tachibana i know you have to fight her in order to not become one of the npcs that populate the school but still they lowkey treating her like shes still not a person plus this whole time shes been trying to help the afterlife group its just sad 😭

Still, to me the best Anime ever produced. The sheer melancholy and sadness makes it outstanding.
