The takeaway is pretty simple… there are no great teams this year. Take the national champion from any of the previous 10 years and they all go undefeated with a 3 touchdown margin of victory against all the “top” teams this year. Even if Oregon or Indiana go undefeated, they don’t measure up historically.

Throwing the ball behind the line was one of the worst moves of the game and it will continue too not work 😡.

I think one targeting penalty is a 15 yard penalty. Player that commits 2nd targeting penalty in a game is 15 yard penalty and the player then gets ejected.

Here is the one critique I'd have with Bobo on first downs and Carsons first down picks. If its play action AFTER the run has been or semi been established, I can get behind a play action pass on first down. But standard drop back passing on first down I have a hard time agreeing with. I get you want to have tendency breakers but why on first down? Maybe this has to do with the fact the run game takes a good time to develop thru a game, idk. But Carson, to y'alls point, has to just quit forcing on first down as well. Live for another down. Best version of Carson imo, is moving the pocket with under center roll outs and getting that rhythm built. He's good enough to make these changes mid season, just got to trust the guy and let him do what he does best.

Since 1960, LSU is 215-60-4 (.778) at night in Tiger Stadium compared to a 21-26-3 (.450) record during the day over that span. Bryan Kelly is 13-0 with night games at home. Statistics favor LSU @ night but I believe Bama has the better team on their best day and Bama matches up extremely well against LSU. I Have bama winning but wouldn't be shocked at all if LSU won.

That’s an Obvious statement. If Georgia and Ole Miss plays their best games, Georgia Wins. If Bama and LSU plays their best, Bama Wins. What Georgia has over all these 4 teams is they can Win without their QB playing well. The other 3 need Big games from their QBs and Milroe has the Most talent followed by Dart, Beck and Nussmeier

He said UGA beat the #1 team, and Ohio St beat the #3 team. No they didn’t according to the committee. That is AP poll rankings, and the playoff committee doesn’t use those rankings. They are starting fresh, with no rankings…and they break teams down into pods, or groupings, and then decide the order of the teams in those pods. The the committee. To the committee, Penn state and Texas are in the same pod, and it’s virtually the same win. And they look at Ohio State as almost undefeated, and one play away from being the #1 team in the country. So it’s an easy choice compared to UGA and Ohio states hardest two games.

Oregon is propping two teams in the rankings up in Ohio State and Boise State. I think the reason why brands are mattering here, is because networks now are running this and tv ratings matter to them.
