A day at the Davis Fire, 10 miles north of Yaak, Montana. Morning coffee, daily 6 am briefing, get my communications truck up and running. Repeater repower mission to Northwest Peak. I ran out of memory card space on the way to NW peak. :-( Still had a good day. :-) Mental note: Bring more memory and batteries for cameras next time.

74 Nova with Doug's full length ceramic coated 1-7/8 headers 3-1/2" collector reduced to 3" and then 3" Pypes X pipes and Pypes Race Pro Mufflers. A great sounding setup.

1974 Nova 350 Chevy, Camel back heads, Lunati cam, Edelbrock Victor Jr, Holly 1850-6, Doug's creamic full lenght headers connected to Pypes 3" X with Race Pro mufflers. Shes a dirty girl, but we'll get her cleaned up.

@Ohitsu068 Yea :D There are some uploads from this weekend and I even have the qualifying session from speed channel. But the quality of this video is rare. Yes, crazy 20 years ago.
I dont know about the rest of you motor heads ....but to me....exhaust tones are like the heart beat of every engine its one of the things that gives cars and trucks there own personality ...I love to hear loud pipes and perfomance mufflers on cars..... soothes my soul

Nope, they are about stock length. Nothing cut.

nova sounds really good. looking to do exhaust on my 73 nova. did you have any clearance issues between the header and stearing box.

did you buy the exhaust kit for the nova or the camaro? Because I noticed the camaro is turned down behind the tire like yours and it sounds good!
I went with the violators there super loud those sound nice also.

The kit places everything pretty much in the stock positions. Mufflers just ahead of the rear axle and the exhaust tips just behind the rear wheels.
Where do you have the mufflers? like are they far from the collector or near the rear axle? My 64 nova will have a nice built 355 in a month or so and im trying to decide what would sound best

@@theshark2804 Wheels are custom offset Centerline's 15 X 8 rear and 15 X 6 front with BF Goodrich T/A's all the way around. I like the classic old school look.
Nice dude, Im looking to redo my exhaust this year, ill have to look into pypes!
The Nova came with a 350. If you have the tools and know how, you can install the heads ,intake and cam yourself. If your new at this, I would suggest getting someone with experience to help you.
Did that nova came with that 350 or u drop it in ? And is it true you have to take the engine to a machine shop if you putting new heads,intake and cams? I have a 74 nova and im trying to restore it i have a 350 edelbrock intake holly carb and I don't know if it's stock or it has some mods any info would help Thank you
